    Great tips, more sew alongs please, would love one on a beginner pinafore apron to wear as a sewing apron with sewing notions fabric.

    Note to self .I must press my knit makes more. How neat and I wouldnt have thought of pressing up my hems beforehand. Great tutorial Jenny.

    Great sew along - can you tell me, did you just overlock the raw edges of your seam allowance without trimming? Yhanks

      Hi! I usually trim so that the overlocking is snug up against the sewn seam (ie remove the seam allowances) xxx

      Hi Margaret, it’s a Janome 6234XL, I only got it recently but I’m enjoying using it xx

    Lovely! How much fabric does it take, also how much is the pattern please. I guess i also need the fabric price too?

      Hi Jan, the pattern is a PDF available only from the designer - I've linked it in the caption above. The fabric is £12 a metre for the plain cotton jerseys, I usually link the products to the video but RUclips wasn't playing ball this morning! My version took 1m, but you'd have to check the size chart on the pattern for appropriate fabric requirements xxx
