Thanks Traci, I am 50 and still cannot find my niche, I have been thinking about it for more than 2 years..... Can you imagine? It is very hard! Because all niches already occupied by others... But people like you always inspired me. Tell me please, what camera and mic do you use? How come you're not shy to talk on camera?
Two years is a long time to think about your niche, which shows you really want to do this! Don’t let that time discourage you-it can take a while to find what feels right, but once you do, it’ll be worth it. And remember, there's always room for more because you are unique. The way you talk about your niche and share your perspective-those are all things only you can bring. For the camera, I use the front-facing iPhone, even though the rear-facing is better quality. I tried using a DSLR, but it became more of a hassle, and the iPhone works great. For me, it’s all about reducing friction and removing anything that might stop me from filming. The lapel mic is from Amazon, and I have a connector to fit it into my iPhone; I’ve shared a link in the video description. And the shyness? I totally get it. But eventually, I got tired of holding myself back. I figured, if I don’t start now, when will I? So I just started filming, and it’s been freeing. You’ve got this!
@@TraciGurney Thanks a lot Traci, I am already working on my animation educational channel for kids. At the moment i learn some editors and created already 2 videos which I want to upload soon.
That’s awesome! Creating animation takes a lot of dedication, so big congrats on already completing two videos! I can’t wait for you to upload them. If you need any advice or feedback along the way, feel free to reach out. Best of luck with your launch!
Great question! When deciding what content to offer for free vs. paid, I think about a couple of things. Free content is meant to be helpful and actionable on its own-quick tips, insights, and ways to get started that anyone can use to get quick wins. Paid content, goes deeper and offers more comprehensive strategies, step-by-step processes, and specific solutions. A big part of what makes paid content different is access. With paid content, you get more in-depth guidance and the chance to ask questions specific to your needs, so it’s more tailored to help you reach your goals faster. So the free content is super helpful on its own, but if someone wants to dive in further and get that one-on-one touch, the paid content provides that next level. Does that answer your question?
Thanks Traci,
