I wish the leaders in aesthetic dentistry weren't all so secretive about what labs they use. They are all quick to share pictures of their work online, give advice on preps, shade matching, etc., but all of them will keep their lab information confidential, even when asked point blank. It's gotten to a point where it's taboo to ask such a question. Good labs that are willing to put the amount of effort described in this video into their work are incredibly hard to find in this day and age, and it doesn't matter how precise your instructions are if you can't find one. I can't tell you how many labs I have gone through where I would give them a long detailed PowerPoint with pictures and instructions I have created, just to get a crown back that hasn't been modified after coming off of the mill/press. Sharing laboratory info would give credit where credit is due, help dentists find quality labs, as well as help these laboratories thrive financially. I can't imagine being a technician putting hours of work into your restorations for your dentist, and then never be recognized/credited for it.
If I ever watch any of your podcast on RUclips and not HIT LIKE 👍🏼 its because I listen while driving( sorry !) LIKE LIKE LIKE , such an amazing helpful shower of info ❤
When using other than vita classical shade tabs, how does the lab know which colours to use? Do they make ceramics/colours in other shade systems (e.g. vita 3D master) as well?
