Honestly the original does sound like something that would be in the corruption mod tbh. And this is the reason why this cover is great it feels like an original song for this mod fr. I think what it means by "Timeline Changed" is that when Pico saved supposedly B-Side BF, the timeline changed to a timeline where BF was not corrupted, meaning Pico and GF could have been in the B-side universe during this song up until Pico saves B-Side BF. I can back this up when Pico says "You're not Boyfriend." which could means BF is not the same, but it fits. Another thing to back this up is when Pico gets corrupted, the facial colors are blue instead of the red they are supposed to be. ANOTHER thing to back this up is when I thin B-Side BF says the following lines: "What the hell?" "How did he get here?" "He's not supposed to be here." "This isn't right." "I'm gonna have to fix it." "I'll get working." This could mean B-Side BF does not want to corrupt Pico but instead get him and GF back to their timeline. My headcanon is that once B-Side BF got uncorrupted, he somehow teleported Pico and GF back to their timeline as a thank you for freeing him. Apparently, BF was just chilling there, waiting for something to happen, when he sees Pico and GF teleport right in front of his eyes. Before BF can say a word, a horde of corrupteds charge at the trio, so they team up to take them on which leads to the next songs.
