Hey guys! 😀 I always find the back of the boat clear. Not many people want to sit there due to motion/sea sickness so love the small win there! Stunning boat ride and scenes to compliment, not much to complain about here. Sounds like a very worth while trip 🤗 thanks for sharing guys, glad we have come across your channel! 🤜🤛
You picked a pretty day for travel. The scenery is beautiful. Alan is pretty creative (shade contraption). That's a lot of islands to see. The homes and cottages looked interesting. I hope you get to see more. Enjoy! Safe travels! :)
I loved the look of Napoleon's Cabin! What a cool shaped little cottage. Looks like a really relaxing trip 🙂 I think I could happily do that for way longer than an hour!
Those cottages are amazing!! I like the one with the rounded roof. But seriously, I’m going to try to convince Ruth that a cottage in the 1000 islands is where we should retire! So beautiful.
This cruise looked like so much fun! I appreciated the island facts. It looked like a beautiful day. Although I would probably need the extra shade too!
What a lovely cruise! I had no idea that is a criteria for an island to be considered an island. Good to know. 😊 The views are amazing...I love seeing all the sailboats. The weather was perfect! 🥰
Really enjoyed the vlog, your voice over came over very proffesional, picked up some useful tips for putting our films together. well done loved the scenery.
@@TheAverageTourist we know how difficult putting these films together and you did a very watchable video look forward to future destinations you may upload. take care
Fellow Canadian travel vlogger here! 🇨🇦 The 1000 Islands are so pretty. I love how much information was shared about the waterways... especially that they used to be frequented by pirates! 🏴☠️ Great video!
I had no idea just how many islands there were on the east coast of Canada! Very cool! What a beautiful day for a cruise, and so nice that they provided a historic narrative during your ride! Love that there were pirates there; fun to imagine :)
Such an awesome video, loved the views from the boat, you were lucky with the good weather, although maybe a bit too sunny? Good thing you had that new shading device😂
This is such a gorgeous part of Ontario. Gan is a lovely little tourist town, full of history. Looks like you got some great weather and views. The footage you got is just incredible. It's just a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Oh ya and that Hobbit house is so cool! Greetings from Toronto looking forward to more videos friend.
Always great to get on a boat during summer, especially this summer. Hilarious to think pirates used to cruise a lake in between new York and ontario 😂 lol love the creative shade protector, may need to order one the Turkish summer sun is no joke! Definitely think we would have opted for the longer cruise it seemed like a great time!
Looks like such a beautiful area & an awesome trip! I didn’t know that islands couldn’t be considered islands unless they stay above the water all year but it totally makes sense 😆 liked & subscribed!
That was a great vlog! Your music choice is 👌🏼 and footage is just amazing! It’s so weird to do vlogs today with face mask 😭 It’s great how you gave a loads of infos of the area! Subscribed! We wish that you will reach 1k sub soon 😊
Impressive place! It's nice to even just have a look at it, but I like that some islands are open to the public and there is a possibility to spend more time there, especially if you are a sailboat owner, haha :)
1,000 island cruise and it only last an hour. Expected it to be longer. Such a luxury to own one of these islands. I would love to go for some sailing there. Alan seems to be on the wrong side of the world with his shade creation. It is indeed not busy at all during the week.
Sorry no salmon in that part of the St.Lawrence that I’ve ever seen. I’ve lived on St.Lawerence 1000 Islands for 20 years. Lots of Walleyes, and yes some of the biggest Muskies you’ll ever see.
So beautiful, I love that they had a narration that gave the history. We love learning about places when traveling. Those little homes are so so cute!
Yeah I liked it too. It just added to the experience :)
Lovely views from the top deck of the cruise !! The sea scape dotted with the sailboats looked amazing !! Definitely worth it I guess !! 🤪
Yeah it was pretty fun! Great scenery.
Wonderful cruise 😀. Great vantage point at the back, and information. Hope to do that cruise some year. Thanks for sharing and have a great day 😀👍
Thanks, we enjoyed it. Hope you get to take the cruise one day.

Yeah we definitely got lucky with the weather... the day before was awful.
I loved the look of Napoleon's Cabin! What a cool shaped little cottage. Looks like a really relaxing trip 🙂 I think I could happily do that for way longer than an hour!
Yeah that was a cool cabin. And agree, an hour wasn't long enough.
I love all of the history you shared! Such a lovely place. Didn’t know about I before the video, I feel like we learned so much!
Thanks very much! I learned a lot so wanted to share it :)
Those cottages are amazing!! I like the one with the rounded roof. But seriously, I’m going to try to convince Ruth that a cottage in the 1000 islands is where we should retire! So beautiful.
Yeah there are so many cute cottages there. I'd love to have my own island. But maybe not there in the winter... 🤣
This is amazing! The scenery is so beautiful and can’t believe how many sailboats there are! Love your sweater shade protective device 😂
Yeah it was a beautiful area. Yep, the hubby thrives in winter weather (I don't).
What a cute place to live on one of those islands! Looks really fun to go on that little cruise around it all😊
It was so fun. The scenery was nice, and I picked out my retirement cottage 😂
Those Island are so lovely and the building all looked lovely. So much useful information within your storytelling ;)
This cruise looked like so much fun! I appreciated the island facts. It looked like a beautiful day. Although I would probably need the extra shade too!
Yeah we're a funny couple one of us always looking for the sun and the other hiding in the shade 😂
Great video guys. Love learning of these places with you ❤ the scenery in the 1000 island is absolutely stunning ! Thank you so much for sharing guys
Happy to share - although we can't travel internationally, we're finding little gems here at home.
What a lovely cruise! I had no idea that is a criteria for an island to be considered an island. Good to know. 😊 The views are amazing...I love seeing all the sailboats. The weather was perfect! 🥰
Yeah we had perfect weather for the cruise. I had no idea about the island criteria either.

Amazing vlog! Just a question do we need passport and valid US visa to enter from kingston ???
If you're Canadian, you need a valid Canadian passport - no visa.
How many islands we are allowed?
Could you tell us?How many hours you spent at cruise 🛳
We went on the 1 hour cruise but there are longer ones
Doesnt it get boring in 3 hrs?
Our trip was only an hour
haha i live there
Wow... I almost forgot how ridiculous those masks were... open air cruise in the middle of the St. Lawrence River..... mask on. Incredibly democratic.
🤣🤣 we said the same thing. We were in the open fresh air. With wind breezing past us 🤦♀️
Please please please, I don’t want to see your headshot through most of the video. Just the view
