This is my first time to hear the English version of Hanbei. Hanbei is a little boy in Samurai Warriors 3. The voice in Japanese version is Umeka Shōji. It's look like Hanbei is older then Japanese version.
Having played SW Chronicles first, Hanbei was just so cute to me especially with his voice. (for a while I thought he was a girl) Then when I got SW 3 and played in English, I was not prepared to hear Hanbei's sexy-ass voice XD gahhhhhhhhd

I wasn't disappointed to hear his woman voice 😃
I'll be honest, the only exposure I had to Hanbei before this was from Warriors Orochi 3. The English voice through me for a loop. It's not a bad thing, but I was sure as hell surprised.
Amazing, so they used the characters from this game for Pokémon Conquest? Strange, but they must have had high ratings for them to be used again. NOW I WANNA PLAY IT! Hanbei
Well, his english voice represants his actual age better but the japanese voice fits more with his design In my opinion you can love both for different reasons Honestly I prefer his english voice because it sounds more natural to me and like the confident character I always assumed he was
@viet411 actually Samurai Warriors 3 Z will be a PS3 exclusive. Its basically SW3 but with more characters. The Wii will release SW3XL around that same time

The voices don't necessarily sound that bad, but the acting...I feel like it could've been directed better. I've been looking into the Samurai Warriors series after playing Pokemon Conquest, just to hear what the characters sound like, and, Kabei and Motonari...well, they're a surprise to be sure.
Im not generally a "Japanese voice over english" person, and I love Yuri as a voice actor....but I wish they gave him an english voice more like his japanese one. It suits him better. Side note: He shares the voice of Sun Ce and Zhang He :P
@@soloshermitshack4955 Yuri voicing Hanbei isn't actually the case. Between your two comments, the website of one Adam Bobrow was discovered, and Samurai Warriors 3 was on his video game worklist. Bobrow's voice is like a mix of Michael Lindsay (Kanetsugu Naoe, DW4 Sun Ce) and Yuri Lowenthal (DW5-8 Sun Ce and Zhang He), as determined through his other works (Code Geass R2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, etc.), and Hanbei was the SW3 character that fit that description.

Surprisngly I never heard Hanbei or Kanbei's English VA 'till now. And I expected to have Hanbei to have a higher pitch of voice, along with Kanbei having a more deeper voice... Eh... But okay then.
