The best way to help "the Little Man" is to shop local. Support the Mom & Pops. When you do that, the money pays for someone's dance lessons or soccer cleats...it supports a family, not a big corporation.
Some people are going back to the old ways. Growing gardens, shopping at green markets, bartering, etc. At least when you buy from them, you know you're getting the real deal.

I remember down the road from our house was a store called Sandford's Groceries and Hardware Store where I used to take coke bottles to sell for a nickel a piece and get me a soda pop and a Powerhouse candy bar or a moon pie. It was all gone when I went back home after I grew up and got out of the Marine Corp. It was like a huge slap into reality of things.
This song gets to me every time, I grew up in much simpler times in towns like these. Heartbreaking shit man

People were loyal to their local businesses back in the day. Not nowadays. One stop gets you everything. I do everything I can to not support the big chain stores.
Can't imagine how many more mom-and-pop stores and independent stores went out of business after being forced to shut down after that "pandemic".
Meanwhile they let other large corporations stay open because they were deemed "essential".

Big box stores stayed open during the plandemic and it was ok for those doors to stay open allowing thousands of customers in but the little lady in Tehachapi couldn’t open her doors of her craft store to the 7-10 customers she’d see on a good day.
