Merrison & Williams are (in my humble opinion) the best Sherlock Holmes radio dramas ever produced. I found these a long time ago on the interweb but so glad they are now available here. Thank you!
As someone who heard the Merrison and Wiliams version of A Study In Scarlet going out on Radio Four for the first time in 1989, I completely agree. I was 9 at the time and I was immediately struck by Clive merrison's energy and perfection for the roll. The chemistry between him and Williams is fantastic, and the fact that they made Doctor Watson more involved and gave him a deeper roll in the stories is great.
