@@hualian5339 lol.. ikr I heard in the audios first and then i was like really 😳 then I read some end translations of the novel and the manhua and i was like wow.. you guys too ahead of your time😋😋 I love them so much 🥺🥺
You just gotta love how, in the middle of the colossal betrayal unfolding between LXC and JGY, the moment they hear WWX and LWJ got separate rooms they drop EVERYTHING and go “WHAT?? SEPARATE ROOMS? IS EVERYTHING OK WITH YOU GUYS?” because they’ve invested and gossiped so much about them.
Really!! The two of them are like “This absolute betrayal of nearly 20 years of trust and friendship can wait 10 minutes. We’ve been waiting for you two to get together since you two met, and YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW HE’S IN LOVE WITH YOU?!”
Lol... Well LXC is the captain of our ship so of course, WangXian relationship is more important. I imagine LXC be gossiping to JGY about him doing his most to try and set LZ and WY together. LXC must have proudly told JGY about him sending WY to go bathe with LZ! 😆😆
LXC and JGY: “..and that’s what happened. LWJ is in love with you.” WWX: “WHAT! I need to go find him!” JGY: “I mean that’s great but your still very much a hostage. So no.”
Not bragging or anything but there is someone I love like this, but she has a girlfriend and she knows I love her and the sad part is I'd do anything for her to be happy even if that kills me🙂
@@mikaelafrias7786 as we know, before meeting Wei Ying, Lan Zhan was exemplary person, exemplary Lan clan member, following all the rules and not questioning them...then he fell in love and it ended up badly...he endagered his reputation and life and his own clan members because to him, Wei Ying was above everything. Xichen is trying to emphasize how he would be living spotless life, if not for falling in love with Wei Ying.
@Χρυσή Πετρίδου I am not saying the Lan clan is right! so we can't disagree because we agree haha. It's just that is how people saw them, how they saw themselves...that the only "dirt" they could have on wangji is his association with wuxian. But indeed, one of the most important points of the story is just how wei wuxian has changed lan wangji and his life to better.
@Χρυσή Πετρίδου well written comment! very true. the lan clan is ambivalent (like a bright light with deep shadows). I always felt like it's a cage for LWJ, where he didn't break out cause that's the only thing he knew until WWX came. And his brother new it's better for LWJ (that's why he ships them😄right from the beginning). maybe it's something the novel want to teach us: follow the rules for reputation, surpress feelings, give up yourself and have a cold heart or stand out, disobey the rules to break free, feel love and devotion to become your true self❤️
I hate all the blame people put on Wei Ying for not realizing Wangji's feelings. If you put yourself in Wei Ying's shoes you would think Wangji hates you too or finds you barely tolerable at best in your first life. Wei Ying is not that oblivious to his feelings for Wangji in his second life but he's scared and apprehensive because he has the preconception that Wangji hated him. He constantly tests the water with Wangji to see his feelings, but ultimately needs that verbal confirmation because of his preconceptions. (Ex. Learning the true meaning of the forehead ribbon and still wanting to touch it to see how Wangji will react. Pretending to be asleep on the boat to Lotus Pier to see want Wangji would do. Jumping into his arms from the tree, ect.) The issue is they take two steps forward and three steps back because of misunderstandings. (Ex. Jiang Cheng being homophobic toward them at Lotus Pier. We know Wangji reacts the way he does because Wei Ying calls him just a friends. Wei Ying thinks Wangji acts that way because Jiang Cheng called him gay which is seen as shameful in their society. Wei Ying says what he does to protect Wangji's reputation and dignity. Wei Ying doesn't care Jiang Cheng calls him gay because he has already accepted his feelings for Wangji and his reputation is already shit. In turn this causes Wei Ying to think that Wangji finds being gay shameful and makes him push down his feelings in fear that Wangji will find him disgusting and reject him. Better to stay by his side and hide his feelings than get rejected and hated.) Wei Ying's insecurities in himself doesn't help either. Wei Ying is the son of a servent, Wangji the son of a sect leader. Wangji is the renowned Hanguang-Jun, Wei Ying is the demonic Yiling Patriarch. How could someone as pure as Wangji love someone as evil as him. Plus all throughout the novel he is constantly told Wangji hates him. Someone tells you something enough you start to believe it. The Wangji of their youth defiantly doesn't help this. Unfortunately Wangji's emotional repression and taciturn nature really bites him in the ass. He constantly tells Wei Ying they are not close, that he's shameless and boring. Calls him truly the worst when they are in the cave together. We as the reader know why Wangji does that, but to Wei Ying he would think Wangji really does hate him. It's also completely unfair of Xichen even Wangji to a point to think that Wei Ying would remember the bloodbath of Nightless City. It's reiterated multiple times that Wei Ying has a terrible memory usually by Wangji himself. So why would Wei Ying remember what was the worst night of his entire life? He is essentially suffering from a psychotic break and has completely lost control of himself. Why would he want to remember even an ounce of that night? Also it's been thirteen years since then and he was dead. You can't really blame him for that. Wangji also has the worst timing when it comes to voicing his feelings. (Ex. Wei Ying delirious and passing out from a fever in the cave. Let's tell him the song is called Wangxian. Wei Ying suffering from a psychotic break, let's profess our love.) All in all Wei Ying and Wangji are very complex characters and neither are completely at fault nor blameless when it comes to their misunderstandings. Wei Ying is not as oblivious as people think and Wangji is not 100% perfect either. The pain can be felt for both characters when it comes to their relationship. We as the reader can see both sides, but when you put yourself in each characters shoes things become more complex, but also clearer. Sorry for ranting. Anyway here is a good ao3 post that goes way more in depth. archiveofourown.org/works/29957406
Thank you finally someone who gets cuz I feel like these ppl read a different novel you can clearly see wei ying has romantic feelings for lan zhan and looks at him in the highest regard so he doesn't want to taint lan zhan image anymore than he already did .Like lan zhan and wei ying are Amazing but neither is perfect and I'm glad that the both were able to see each others pain and finally express their love for each other
reading that was really good! i think you are right! I got frustrated everytime WWX tried to figure out why LWJ was willing to help and protect and care for him that much because LWJ never got to make it clear that it was out of love. But who could blame him? When he tried to conffess, in the worst possible time ever, he was told to leave. He heard No once, he was not gonna give WWX a chance of telling him to go away again. LWJ's love is so innocent and shy and pure. WWX's love is timid and an admiration that kept him at distance. This is the most beautiful love history to ever be created!
So well put! Thank you. In Qei Ying's defence, when you are hated everywhere and by everyone, you shut your heart and will be in defence mode. You won't realise/accept unless a verbal confirmation comes. Since my life is so relatable to Wei Ying's, I kinda guess how much he suffered or struggled through 😭
Even though the only thing Wei Ying is guilty for in this is being an idiot towards WangJi’s love, I do understand Lan Xi Chen’s frustration and anger. The brother he knew so well suddenly changed so quickly, breaking various rules that can get him killed. Some people might think that LXC is being too harsh to Wei Ying, but we have to look at his perspective here. Your younger brother, the person you love so dearly and have known for so long has done unspeakable things that no cultivator would dare to do. And for what? To us, the audience, we call it love. To LWJ as well, we see it as an act of love. But what would you do when the person you love the most starts doing dangerous things for one person? what would you do if you knew those dangerous things could kill that person at any moment? You would feel frustrated too, because you wouldn’t be able to stop them. LXC’s mad because even after all this and WWX literally dying, Wei Ying doesn’t see the full picture of LWJ’s feelings. His thought process is literally just, “My younger brother broke all these rules, committed heinous crimes just by saving you, and almost got himself killed multiple times, only for you to say you didn’t know he felt this way about you? He abandoned his own clan for you too, despite you being a huge target for everyone. You still think that this is anything but love? Really Childe Wei?” So really, LXC may be acting as pissed as a nutshell right now, but it’s very understandable. His brother suffered a lot for Wu Xian, and LXC could do nothing about it. That doesn’t make WWX a bad person, because him not understanding LWJ’s feelings right away isn’t exactly WWX’s fault either. WWX’s never experienced love before, only very little and that’s just from his sister who literally died in his hands. So you can guess any source of love would either be rejected out of spite or just straight up ignored by accident because my boy can’t deal with feelings so well. LWJ and WWX both should have had a very honest heart to heart about how they felt about each other to avoid further conflict. unfortunately, due to certain circumstances that was just impossible. Luckily, their feelings for each other was cleared up in the end and they both were happy. So yeah, LXC’s actions were harsh but understandable, and LWJ and WWX just needed a good long talk with one another (with a shit ton of therapy if Ancient China even had that back then... pls don’t @ me if China did have therapy back then I’m not good at history). Alright! I guess I’m done rambling now. Have fun living your lives, people who read this. PS: What I find most heartwarming in this scene is that as soon as WWX has LWJ’s love clear in his mind he doesn’t question it he just be like “gotta get to my future husband” without any second thoughts my heart arghfjfewfkgnie their love is real!!!
so true thanks for your words, I was about to comment the same. it's an overall frustaration of LXC and the reader like: sweet WWX why are you so dumb, please use your brain. it was all for you! 😔 sometimes you just need to bump someone into it with his nose...what a tense situation in the audio drama😭
I truly loved how LXC was so frustrated for his brother and how he was on his side. Ever since the beginning he knew his brother so well and tried to help me get close to wwx, despite the uncle's opinions. We love a supportive king! Also love how WWX was ready to kill everyone in order to get to Lan Zhan! He was like "I need to confess now my darlings, let's rain check this hostage situation for later"
Also one of the reason behind lxc losing his calmness was because he was trying that melody(jgy made) on himself making him lose his composure during the whole guanyin temple scene
Personally i feel it's unfair of LXC because lwj never showed he cared till it was too late. A guy near his death, insane, half blind and deaf, with death of all jiangs, all Wens he was trying to keep safe, his sister etc. on his mind, not remembering or caring that someone he admired and cared as a teen likes him isn't exactly a shocker. Then WWX is dead.
@@tonyboakye5204 I am a very emotional person. When I experience emotional moments, I cry. I can't stop this. That can be with films, books, audio drama, even music makes me cry.
I know that Xichen was very hurt and frustrated at this moment but it's not all WWX's fault, he didn't know that LWJ's love for him would end up this way and what LWJ did was his own decisions, he chose to do it because of his undying love for WWX, he knew the consequences yet he still did it and so WWX didn't really have anything to do it with this except for being clueless and stupid about LWJ feelings, WWX shouldn't be blamed since he wasn't the one who told LWJ to fight for him though yes I get Xichen's anger
I don’t think Xichen was at all in his right mind at that moment. He’s has gone through so much and it’s understandable how angry and hurt he must have felt that is now all rising to the surface once again since Wei Ying is back. I doubt those were his true thoughts he was just in pain
I understand what you mean, but honestly if I was in LXC's position and my baby brother loved someone this much and they don't know, the possibility of him being hurt or rejected after already going through so much would make me angry too. I love WWX, but I understand where LXC is coming from too and I don't think he was mad at WWX, just at how it might turn out for his little brother.
Also, WWX is not excatly dense. It's probably more like he is not used that somewhere out there, there is this person who's willing to throw their life upside down just for him because all his life, it was him doing all the sacrifices for the people he cared about.
@@The-bi5ry yeah you are right maybe he was stressed but of course saying the only mistake Wangji made was him was over the top... I just wished they should have said sorry to him from misunderstanding him too much.. who in the world would be in their right mind after you lost the people you care. And if we looked closely they keep saying especially his uncle Weiying was bad, he was evil but the person they are referring to was already insane from grief. they've only see their suffering but not the person who was accused who also lost a love one.. then later on they have used some of Weiying's teachings and discoveries aren't they bunch of hypocrites.. These all the things happening in the novel was basically those clans blaming everything to Weiying and that they are all sin less.
Watching drama, already a gift. Reading novel, even more blessed w/ uncensored material. Listening to audio drama, closest thing to heaven. Beyond that requires our imagination..
If you are going to share your life with someone, remember: that person HAVE TO treasure you like Lan zhan treasures Wei ying. Not less than that. Having such a soulmate in one lifetime is enough.
Wei Ying was severely injured and in a trance. He could have been hallucinating, and hearing voices from the spirits or something at that time and could have been telling "them" to get lost, not necessarily to Lan Zhan.
@mandarina blue I know it would be horrible. But Wei Ying loves Lan Zhan too. Wei Ying is the type who needs direct answers. Otherwise he's oblivious. You see how he hounded Lan Zhan to tell him how he recognized him in Mo Xuanyu body. By the time Lan Zhan confessed to him, he was not in his right mind and was badly injured. The resentment energy from the amulet was causing turmoil in him, he just lost his elder sister who he loved dearly. Yet here is Lan Zhan trying to care for him and NOW confessing his feelings for him when all this craziness is going on and he expects Wei Ying to say anything but "Go away?"
Wei Ying was most definetly not ok at that moment. The darkness of the magic took him over completely. The whole thing was such a trauma, that even his soul/mind didn't want to remember it. When WY confesses, he tells LZ that he has a really bad memory, and that he forgot many things, includung the battle at Nevernight City. I get LXC's point, but WY needed verbal confirmation.
@@KindOfTiredofLiyfe He was projecting, knowing he was actually fooled by someone like meng yao. Wwx didn't know lwj liked him, they hardly even met once burial mound arc starts. There was nothing idiotic about it. Wwx had people to keep alive and protect.
I don’t blame Wei Ying for being oblivious to Lan Zhan’s feelings. Considering how many people he thought didn’t like or want him in his first life and the guilt he felt about thinking he got his adopted family killed and especially after he became the Yiling Patriarch and his guilt for getting so many people killed directly or indirectly, his self worth was so low. Jiang Cheng’s mom treating him like a worthless nothing his whole childhood also didn’t help. That’s why he’s so selfless, he doesn’t think his life is worth anything 😞 He doesn’t think anybody could truly love him, but Lan Zhan does😭 He literally fought his family and bares scars for WY❤️ I’m so glad they got their happy ending 💞
In middle of life and death situation, Ziwu Jun and JGY were like “I can’t believe you two still sleep in two separate rooms. Why Lan Wang Ji has not got his happy ending yet? It is outrageous he is still a virgin!” Audiences are like, “Wei Ying, Please make the most dramatic confession then go ahead with ‘everyday’ please”
Lan Wangji's love was truly unconditional from the first and that make their relation so strong..I had to cry at this part And the fact that WWX was oblivious of it makes it more painful 😭😭😭😭
This is really so heartbreaking. LWJ really loves WWX so much to be able to withstand all of that physical pain and trauma, as well as the emotional pain after WWX's death. And he also had to withstand everything that WWX did to him in his second life without any hope of WWX ever loving him back (or so he thought). I can't even reread the novel now because the first time I read it I loved all the teasing moments right after WWX was reincarnated and thought they were fun, but now all I see is LWJ's pain and suffering from it and the terrible misunderstanding that he thinks WWX is making fun of his feelings when he's really just clueless. :((
"Everything I do is from my own heart's intent." Such bold words Lan Wangji. A man who was taught to be stoic and impassive, to not let emotions mend with rationality, he truly acted upon his own heart. His love for Wei Wuxian is so pure and passionate🤍 for once in his life time he decided to pursue his heart and it was deemed wrong; all because he chose to love someone unloveable in the eyes of others🤍 Lan Wangji's yearning and suffering always makes my heart strings tear 🤍 "I am willing to shoulder all the consequences with him." This line also breaks me. Your honor, they're in love! Please just let them be! Every time I hear it and see it, I just want to cry 🤍
I bet LXC & JGY were gossiping about WWX & LWJ behind their back. Even in this situation they couldn’t hold back their desire to know the tea and reveal everything 😂
The “get lost” part fucking hurts. Like, even unconscious, Wei Ying believes himself to be so dangerous to the people he cares about that he’d ignore a love confession in favor of saving Lan Zhan.
Still in pain, after reading the novel so many times and listening to this video. My heart hurts, breaks and I want to cry. The music, the voices and emotion.. I can't forget WangXian.
When this video was removed I got so sad TT because I literally listen to this on the daily and it's my necessary dose of serotonin and pain and- anyway, I'm really glad you re-uploaded it :DD
I felt like my heart was being stabbed over and over again when I was hearing this. Lan Zhan.... just how much he endured? suffered? hurt?! God.. Wei Ying... why you had to be sl oblivious of his feelings to this extent?! just why???!!
I mean... to us readers it's obvious. But in real life, how many of us would actually notice? Lan zhan is very introverted and reserved, and doesn't say too much. Also, he would say stuff that, if it was me, i would believe that he might really dislike me, just like wei ying. Also the fact that they were super different, and Lan zhan didnt hang out a lot. So ofc Wei ying would think that he was not the type of person that lan zhan would like around
Anyone would be. WWX wasn't a mind reader. They didn't even meet much once real hardships started in WWX's life. LWJ didn't actually show he loved WWX till it was too late. What is love to a dying person who is going through trauma of seeing so many people he protected for years hung up on walls and killed. Or seeing his sister die. By the time LWJ actually accepted that he liked WWX, he was already dead.
You just...oh my god, he suffered so much for Wei Ying's sake... I was flinching the entire time I was listening to Lan Zhan getting whipped. I can understand how frustrated Xichen was with Wei Ying's general denseness. If that was my sister that I watched getting her heart broken over and over again, I'd be angry too. All that emotional heartbreak for 16 years condensed into one very angry rant... Wei Ying, you'd better make it up to him afterwards...
Even though read this chapter so many times before,Heartbreaking to hear each and every time.wu wuxion gave all his love to his family in his first life.he sacrificed his golden core for Jiang cheng without second thoughts.lost his control once he encountered his sister's death.at that stage lossing his sisyer like yanli, he must have blinded though his emotions.he was soo clueless a true soul was yearning for him.fighting against whole world just for him and to protect him. happy that Wei ying naturally drawn towards LAN wanji and started to love him without knowing LAN Chan's feelings.finally purest soul LAN chan got his happy ending.Feelling "wang yibo" is a reallfe version of lan chan.He did protect xiao in his tough time like lan chan.He Looks cold. But light up around xiao.I Wish him his happiness and just pray for him
Lan zhan saving wei ying despite how much wei ying had already given up on his life at that point... It was useless and yet he still did everything he could to save him :'''''(
Whenever I read this part my heart aches... I'm crying every time I read it....the feelings they both had were next level...ready to sacrifice oneself for other
A lot of people say LXC was too hard to WWX in this scene, however, I do not see it at all. Of course he is angry and exhausted, his beloved younger brother has been in love for a lot of years with a person that is now saying they did not know anything, even though LWJ has already confessed once and has made sacrifices and suffered so much for this person. Also, LXC was present when LWJ confessed and even saw WWX rejecting him (yes, we know that WWX did not remember and was actually out of his mind when he responded to the confession, but in LXC eyes his brother was just harshly rejected in front of his eyes). And even after being rejected LXC sees that his younger brother can not let go of his love, even though WWX died. LXC also sees WWX playing with LWJ feelings after coming back to life (again, yes, we know WWX did not mean to play with LWJ feelings, he did not know LWJ was in love with him, but to LXC, who does not know WWX's point of view, WWX was just cruel to his beloved brother). I have a brother and I would be extremely mad too if I saw my brother in that position. I would have reacted worst than LXC did.
When you are really in love, you are willing to do everything for them. Protect them even from your own family. When we say that love is blind, it is true. But here, it also shows their fidelity to one another.
How could LZ be so dedicated after everything that had happened? He thought WY knew of his feelings and took advantage of it by teasing him all the time. I could also hear LZ's heart breaking when WY said not to take what happened that (drunken) night seriously. All that and yet LZ never left WY's side. In other words, _sanaol_ 😭 Also is it just me or does Yibo bear some resemblance to Seo Ye-ji? 😳
Yeah it's heartbreaking. LWJ really loves WWX so much to be able to withstand all of that without any hope of WWX ever loving him back (or so he thought). I can't even reread the novel now because the first time I read it I loved all the teasing moments right after WWX was reincarnated and thought they were fun, but now all I see is LWJ's pain and suffering from it and the fact that he thinks WWX is making fun of his feelings. Also I see a slight resemblance with their eyes and mouth but their facial structures look different to me.
in this cold afternoon here.... I'm crying this hit directly to my heart ..... the pain... aaah lan zhan waited for wei ying for years and his love for him never fades.
I cannot tell you how much I cried during this scene. The music is what really took me out when Wei Wuxian said “Get Lost!” I didn’t think it wouldn’t get even more painful until I heard Wangxian while Lan Wangji was getting whipped. I swear, I started sobbing and my heart felt like it was shattering in my chest. The studio just went all out on the sadness. The rain, the woman singing that sad tune (which also appears later in the Guanyin Temple with Jiang Cheng), Wangji getting whipped after stating that he was willing to shoulder all consequences with Wei Wuxian, and Wangxian was the killing blow. I also feel depressed knowing both Wei Wuxian and Lan Xichen’s point of view. I mean, Wei Ying had practically lost his will to live and fell into a trance when Lan Zhan saved him so he didn’t remember a thing. But Lan Xichen had to watch his young brother suffer because of all the actions against his own sect to protect the one he loved, so his anger is understandable. But I cannot blame Wei Wuxian knowing that when Lan Zhan had saved him, he was already gone. To me, this scene is one of the reasons, maybe the main reason, that this book is sadder than Heaven Officials Blessing. Especially when you know that this was the last time that Lan Zhan ever saw Wei Ying in Wei Wuxians past life. Those hurtful words that Wei Wuxian said to him, were the last things he ever said to Lan Wangji. Lan Zhan’s last view of Wei Ying was as a broken soul who had lost everything. He was forced to watch the one he loved spiral into madness and agony, unable to stop it. Unlike Xie Lian, who turned his life around, Wei Wuxian couldn’t turn his life around, and the cultivation world didn’t allow him to, soon leading to his death. Oh god, how much pain did Lan Wangji feel when he heard that the person he loved died so horribly? I’m tearing up just thinking about it.
Omg, now I am crying too, thank you. I never even thought about how "get lost" were literally the last words LWJ has ever heard from WWX ;;;;; As for TGCF, it never did hit me as hard as MDZS because I never felt like a life had the same value there as it did in MDZS, simply because it's high fantasy and the characters were immortals and ghosts. I know that WWX came back to life and the people in TGCF could technically die etc. but it just is not comparable imho. And it's for the very same reason, I do not think Hua Cheng's 800 years is in any way more impressive than Lan Wangji's 13 years. The toughest time reading I had, was probably the part when Xie Lian was getting stabbed with the sword, that made me tear up for sure.
@@Busha69 I agree. That scene of Xie Lian getting stabbed was absolutely heartbreaking. I also like how you pointed out how a life did not have the same meaning in Heaven Officials Blessing as it did in Mo Dao Zu Shi. I mean, in the novel it does dawn into you how Lan Wanji endured 13 years without Wei Ying. But Lan Wanji did not have the luxury of knowing that Wei Wuxian was alive out there like Hua Cheng did. Wei Wuxian was literally gone. Dead. LAN Zhan had absolutely no hope that he would ever return. That’s another blow that you suffer after reading the novel. If it weren’t for Mo Xuan Yu, Mo Dao Zu Shi would be a fucking tragedy. Wei Wuxian would never know if Lan Zhans feelings for him and Lan Wangji would continue living knowing that the one he loved was dead, and his beloved’s last words to him were a rejection. That’s how a persons life felt much more valued in Mo Dao Zu Shi. Throughout the novel, you can feel Wanji’s desperation and determination to protect Wei Ying, obviously determined to never make the same mistake that he made in the past if not always being by Wei Ying’s side and protecting him. In a way, Wanji’s sacrifice hit me harder than Hua Cheng’s did, knowing that he went against his entire sect to protect the scoundrel of the cultivation world, and was forever scared for doing so. You also feel the pain Wei Ying felt from losing Shije. He lost her due to the mistakes he and the cultivation world made in the past and you know that she can never come back. It amazes me how well Mo Xian Tong Xu wrote this book, and how she managed to add the weight of the loss the characters feel from losing their loved ones. That is something I did not feel in Heaven Officials Blessing. Don’t get me wrong, I adore both books equally. I just feel like Mo Dao Zu Shi is sadder, because of the loss you feel from the characters deaths, and the understanding that some actions cannot be taken back or fixed.
@@ItzeltheGoddess You expressed everything beautifully! I really have not much to add, I can only agree. Just, indeed, when people say Lan Wangji "waited" for 13 years, I always feel like it is understating the reality a lot. Waiting would imply, that you expect something to come...but in their world, the dead were dead and if they "came back" they were just zombies. I always remember in tgcf, how Xie Lian wanted to gamble away 10 years of his life but then he himself has realised, that it just wouldn't be fair considering who he is. That describes the value of life in tgcf vs. mdzs perfectly I think.
@@Busha69 It means so much to me how you liked my comments. Honestly I was afraid I spoke too much. I tend to ramble on and on in comments about my opinions. To quote mean girls “I just have a lot of feelings.” I always have a lot to say about Wangxian and Hualian. Lan Wangji’s wait hurts me far more than Hua Cheng’s because you’re right. Lan Wangji did not wait because he had nothing to wait for. Wei Wuxian was gone and if it weren’t for Mo Xuan Yu, he would have never returned and Lan Wangji would have never had a second chance with him. I wish the author would write a little story from Wangji’s point of view at the moment when he realized that Wei Ying was back. I want to feel the shock and disbelief that Wangji felt at that moment, followed by the inexplicable joy and relief, then followed by the urge to hide Wei Ying away to keep him close by. Maybe I’ll write one myself. Quick question, can you read Spanish? If you can, I highly recommend you watch the Spanish translation of this video. It broke my heart even more because the screen darkens when Wei Ying says “Get lost!” And Wangji later says instead of No matter what is right or wrong, he says “it doesn’t matter if what he did was right or wrong, I am willing to carry all of the consequences with him.” Anyway, thank you for responding and liking my comments. It means a lot that someone shares my views about the books.
the way JGY acted in this whole scenerio giving mind to WWX fr LWJ thn givng him time to confess thn giving them shelter so they dont get wet in rain if any outsider who dont knw story have read this scene must thought he is such a noble person🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have just read this part from the novel a few days ago. Hearing this dramatized is even more heart-wrenching! This offers a lot more of how much LWJ truly sacrificed. 😢
This is the part where it hurts like alot when wei saying GET LOST to LWJ i cried and those scars an listening it in audio version it hurts more i have no clue how much i cried this was so much sadnesss i happy atleast they had happy ending ❤❤❤❤💙💙💙
I will never forget this major difference between the book and the series. That Lwj would raise his sword against members of his own clan and his uncle who he loves and respects so much to protect Wei Ying is so profound
I just cried now realizing how much effort Lan Wangji does for Wei Wuxian. They didn't show this confession scene in the Drama. The Novel and Audio drama explained it all into details.
is there any man left on earth like lan wangji 😭😭😭 he's literally willing to do anything, to take everything, to be hurt in order to protect his beloved if this wasnt the true romance i dont know what will 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
GOLD!! Let's forget all the betrays, the almost attempted murders + murders, the lies ALL OF IT AND FOCUS ON HOW THE HELL DID THEY SLEEP IN DIFFERENT ROOMS AND WHY THE HELL HAVE THEY NOT KISSED YET!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I don't who I should feel bad the most for... Lan Zhan did everything for Wei Ying but he was soo bad at using words his emotions, intentions were hidden while Wei Ying was always since small told he was not worth it so he believed he wasn't worth Lan Zhan's feelings so he downplayed to a point where he refused to believe it.... Hmmmmm If there's one thing Lan Xicheng got wrong in his speech was that WEI WUXIAN WAS NEVER LAN WANGJI'S BIGGEST MISTAKE!!! If anything I think he was his biggest achievement vise verse for Wei Ying too Lan Zhan was his... I have seen soo many love stories but this one for me is my most favorite. A love like that is something that's almost impossible to find today but if found something worth guarding with you liife
I don't know but giving Wei Ying an hard time about not remembering certain things is a bit pants considering he wasn't there at the time and then he was dead afterwards, just seems a little harsh.
Yes yes yes we all agree lan zhan is best husband and no ONE CAN DENY THAT. But we gonna talk about lan xichen. He also the best bro 😭 he with lan zhan when zhan was in seclusion and a supportive bro :( Like bruh he even went drunk with lan zhan and thats best bro moments... I love both of em. Both are very precious
I would fucking die I think they were saving lives (lol) avoiding us to see this amount of pain and beauty condensed jk if I have one wish in life is to watch those actors doing the censored scenes
I guess thats not fair to blame Wei Ying alone... Lan Zhan hurts his elders... but Lan Qiren chooses to whip Lan Zhan as punishment. And if Lan Xichen wants to blame .... maybe his belief to Jin Guangyao can be blame? Jin Guangyao include Lan Wangji hurts when he hurts Wei Ying too right? Many people involved...not just Wei Ying alone. Why Lan Xichen doesn't try to stop his uncle? He is sect leader a~~~
Lan xichen didn’t blame him for wangji's condition but forgetting the suffering lan zhan had to bear for him.... Its not wwx mistake but he was the reason lwj fought against everyone including his own teachers, brother and uncle... Yet wwx forgot.... He didn’t forget intensionally but at that moment after so much happened to his own brother its reasonable to be carried away... He couldn’t take it that even after everything they're not yet together and wwx knows nothing
Even though Lan Xichen is the sect leader, Lan Qiren is still his elder and has a level of authority higher than him. Xichen was clearly against such a severe punishment but there was little that he could do to defy his uncle.
".... it looks like something did happen between them. And it's not a small matter." Wei Wuxian: *tries to dodge the topic* Fujoshis and fudanshis: 👁️👄👁️
I love that Lan Xiechen got so upset at Wei Ying for not noticing his feeling and he has every right to be. It’s a true sigh of how much he cherishes his brother but.. I think everyone is missing another point, yes Wei Ying is really oblivious but I don’t think a lot of people understand why, It’s all about his self-loafing. He acts confident and care-free but it’s constantly shown just how much he dislikes himself and see’s himself as unlovable, it’s hard for him to think the person he loves, loves him back. Lan Zahn would do anything for him and he already constantly asks why he does and is confused of why he stays by his side, of course he’s not going to notice he’s in love with him unless it’s spelled out for him. (And we know Lan Zahn isn’t best with words and speaks through actions) For him there’s nothing to love about himself and no reason to stay by his side. His conscience basically screaming don’t have wishful thinking or you’ll get hurt just be happy he’s here at all. It’s a sad fact but it’s true, he just needed someone to snap him out of that and that someone was who knew his reclusive lover best, Lan Xiechen. He was the best person to have done this and that’s why I love this scene in a painful way.
Great work guys.even though I don't know the language ,I can hear each emotions correct.sarcasm from jin gun yao.anger in the voice of LAN Quiron.shocking and and helpless wuxion.angry LAN xinxon.each emotions shown flawless though ur voices.kudos.
You can hear how distressed LXC as he recounts what his brother did and his horrendous punishment, incredulous that LWJ did all this for WWX, who didn't even know his Huanguang-Jun carried such feelings for him.
They're in the middle of a hostage situation and LXC and JGY are STILL like, "So have you guys kissed yet or what?"
Right, they hated being left on a cliffhanger for so many years.
They were fanboying over there
this is the most funny hostage crisis ever haha....

RIGHT?!?!?
Truer words have never been spoken xD
And JGY just standing there and listening to this whole conversation. ❤️😂😂
LXC and JGY: “..and that’s what happened. LWJ is in love with you.”
WWX: “WHAT! I need to go find him!”
JGY: “I mean that’s great but your still very much a hostage. So no.”

The way that weiying tells him to get lost😭 y’all could feel the pain he went through in one day
yes
16 years of lan zhan's pain condensed into a day of Wei ying's pain
They both have suffered so much......
Better to stay by his side and hide his feelings than get rejected and hated.)
Wei Ying's insecurities in himself doesn't help either.
Wei Ying suffering from a psychotic break, let's profess our love.)
All in all Wei Ying and Wangji are very complex characters and neither are completely at fault nor blameless when it comes to their misunderstandings.
Thank you finally someone who gets cuz I feel like these ppl read a different novel you can clearly see wei ying has romantic feelings for lan zhan and looks at him in the highest regard so he doesn't want to taint lan zhan image anymore than he already did .Like lan zhan and wei ying are Amazing but neither is perfect and I'm glad that the both were able to see each others pain and finally express their love for each other
I know lan wanji did made Wei believe that he hated him. He would push him away saying that the wasn’t close I also would believe he hated me too.
reading that was really good! i think you are right!
Best comment ever
Thanks for your clear explanations 💜
Personally i feel it's unfair of LXC because lwj never showed he cared till it was too late. A guy near his death, insane, half blind and deaf, with death of all jiangs, all Wens he was trying to keep safe, his sister etc. on his mind, not remembering or caring that someone he admired and cared as a teen likes him isn't exactly a shocker. Then WWX is dead.
When I read the novel, I really cried at the scene, but hearing that now is a lot worse. I'm really suffering and the blows hurt even me.

Sistaaas this is a story so let's go with the flow😂

That get lost is something Lan Zhan usually said to Weiying
@mandarina blue I mean he was a dying man on his death bed and clearly insane at that point. Everyone he cared about was dead. So, yeah.
I get LXC's point, but WY needed verbal confirmation.
lwj: *no matter what is right or wrong, i am willing to shoulder all the consequences with him.*

Audiences are like, “Wei Ying, Please make the most dramatic confession then go ahead with ‘everyday’ please”
Lan Wangji's love was truly unconditional from the first and that make their relation so strong..I had to cry at this part
And the fact that WWX was oblivious of it makes it more painful 😭😭😭😭
That word "Get lost" literally struck my heart😭
"Everything I do is from my own heart's intent."
Such bold words Lan Wangji. A man who was taught to be stoic and impassive, to not let emotions mend with rationality, he truly acted upon his own heart. The “get lost” part fucking hurts. Like, even unconscious, Wei Ying believes himself to be so dangerous to the people he cares about that he’d ignore a love confession in favor of saving Lan Zhan.

By the time LWJ actually accepted that he liked WWX, he was already dead.
i just loooooove how LXC lost his composure and was straight up furious with clueless WWX

But here, it also shows their fidelity to one another.
my heartbeat increased listening to this

How could LZ be so dedicated after everything that had happened? He thought WY knew of his feelings and took advantage of it by teasing him all the time. I could also hear LZ's heart breaking when WY said not to take what happened that (drunken) night seriously. All that and yet LZ never left WY's side.

My heart shattered into million pieces even i hear get lost😭😭😭😭so much pain,i can not endure😭😭😭🥺
I know all this but I still cried listing reading or any sort of mdzs related stuff i cry
The sound that came out of my throat is indescribable and I flinched when the whip hit him
in this cold afternoon here.... I'm crying this hit directly to my heart ..... the pain... aaah lan zhan waited for wei ying for years and his love for him never fades.
Im crying like hell😭😭😭its too much for my soul😭😭😭
I cried.. I miss them so much it s still to go over this ..
LWJ's love is so selfless and pure. it's so heartbreaking
cool thanks for reminding me ill never be over this and that ill spend the rest of my life crying bc "your HanGuang-Jun.... is already here"
I cannot tell you how much I cried during this scene.
I never even thought about how "get lost" were literally the last words LWJ has ever heard from WWX ;;;;;
As for TGCF, it never did hit me as hard as MDZS because I never felt like a life had the same value there as it did in MDZS, simply because it's high fantasy and the characters were immortals and ghosts.
At the beginning WWX and JGY are like the "who says I'm gay" "you are gay" meme
It's the BGM from 4:20 minutes for me and when he says "Get Lost" :')
this part is so satisfying like i cant help but to root for mengyao for slapping some sense on wwx. hahah
the way JGY acted in this whole scenerio giving mind to WWX fr LWJ thn givng him time to confess thn giving them shelter so they dont get wet in rain if any outsider who dont knw story have read this scene must thought he is such a noble person🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank You once again
I cry again...
LWJ....wounded body forever...
Love for WWX...forever too..
Very emotional moments...
I have just read this part from the novel a few days ago. Hearing this dramatized is even more heart-wrenching! This offers a lot more of how much LWJ truly sacrificed. 😢
Whoever made this video soooooooooooo much thanks.💜🥰😍 i am crying
How painfully heartbreaking this would have been if this scene made it to the live action drama.
OMG!!
I NEVER KNEW THIS AUDIO EVEN EXISTED I AM SO THRILLED!!! DOES IT COVER THE WHOLE NOVEL??? OH PLEEEEEEEEESE SAY YES!!!! 🤗🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
5:19 I'M FUCKING LIVING FOR THIS ANGST 🖤❤ ugh it hurts so good
That sounds beautiful and painful at the same time. I feel bad for everybody T T
Thank you for posting here.
This is the part where it hurts like alot when wei saying GET LOST to LWJ i cried and those scars an listening it in audio version it hurts more i have no clue how much i cried this was so much sadnesss i happy atleast they had happy ending ❤❤❤❤💙💙💙
“Get lost” my broken heart😭😭
5:32 this is hitting differently I presumed I became immune after reading this soo many times but hearing it breaks my heart again.😢😞😣
When Lan Zhan was getting the discipline whips I fucking cried my pooor baby 😭😭😭😭
I am crying and im not gonna stop watching
I will never forget this major difference between the book and the series. That Lwj would raise his sword against members of his own clan and his uncle who he loves and respects so much to protect Wei Ying is so profound
It's such a pain and also relief the way how wei ying learns the love beyond everything,,,,
I just cried now realizing how much effort Lan Wangji does for Wei Wuxian.
They didn't show this confession scene in the Drama. The Novel and Audio drama explained it all into details.
is there any man left on earth like lan wangji 😭😭😭 he's literally willing to do anything, to take everything, to be hurt in order to protect his beloved if this wasnt the true romance i dont know what will 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The little details 😭 Wwx heartbeat at 2:04 , MANNN MY HEART HURTS
1:20 Weiying saying deal with JGY when he's the one who confessed to Lan Wangji on the spot
GOLD!! Let's forget all the betrays, the almost attempted murders + murders, the lies ALL OF IT AND FOCUS ON HOW THE HELL DID THEY SLEEP IN DIFFERENT ROOMS AND WHY THE HELL HAVE THEY NOT KISSED YET!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't who I should feel bad the most for...
|Lan zhan ....lan zhan how much you love him.....he is your all world.....and your sensitive spot.......what a love story....
I just want to say *”Wei Wuxian! You!!!”*
They are killing me . I cried a lot 😢😢😭
Yes yes yes we all agree lan zhan is best husband and no ONE CAN DENY THAT. But we gonna talk about lan xichen. He also the best bro 😭 he with lan zhan when zhan was in seclusion and a supportive bro :(
Like bruh he even went drunk with lan zhan and thats best bro moments... I love both of em. Both are very precious
Just think about it.. if there was no such thing like censorship. We could have seen all this in the drama
I would fucking die I think they were saving lives (lol) avoiding us to see this amount of pain and beauty condensed
jk if I have one wish in life is to watch those actors doing the censored scenes
dont remind me 😭💔 i hate the chinese censorship.. but the drama is still good
Did the bad guy really pause in the middle of his evil scheme to gossip about if Lan Zhan and Weiying are sleeping together???
Audio Drama creators: so how hard do we want to get them
"...yes"
".... it looks like something did happen between them. And it's not a small matter."
Wei Wuxian: *tries to dodge the topic*
Fujoshis and fudanshis: 👁️👄👁️
Wow 🤩🤩…. 原著好精彩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 多謝小編😘😘
Again this is the most hilarious climax ever cz the villian's got to be the biggest shipper of WWX and LWJ.😂😂
I loved it😍😍😍💕💕💕Wangji's feeling so touched
You can hear how distressed LXC as he recounts what his brother did and his horrendous punishment, incredulous that LWJ did all this for WWX, who didn't even know his Huanguang-Jun carried such feelings for him.
THIS WAS SO GOOD!!!
He deserves to be told, "I whatever you!" ❤ my bebe A Xian was out of words ❤❤❤❤
When I read this part my stomach hurt I cried a lot.Lan Zhan really loved his Wei Ying he endured everything to protect his lover.
to be honest this entire video was just so sad-
they were so out of line for punishing wangji like that TT ALSO I CANNOT WITH LXC AND JGY ARENT YA ALL IN A DRAMATIC STANDOFF??? WHY U GOSSIPING
Even our real world doesn't deserve Lan Zhan
