    I am more inclined to believe the Hearn version of events, rather than the Wilder version, for two main reasons; AJ has a lot to lose taking the Povetkin fight over Wilder (financially and regarding his legacy, if he loses). The other reason, and more importantly is; Hearn has a history of sticking to the facts, whereas Wilder has a reputation of talking absolute bullshit.

    • @billo3314
      @billo3314 6 лет назад +5

      Blair Fraser that’s what I was thinking. Fighting Povetkin isn’t worth the risk when you consider he might lose a massive payday and Hearn knows that I assure you

      Right, lots of casuals and ignorants, as almost all bumsquad fans are, say that hearn doesn't want this fight, why would he not want it? he is a boxing fan too and it is making him rich lol, all these idiots are making no sense at all...

    • @beezytalkingshit9319
      @beezytalkingshit9319 6 лет назад

      They are making him fight Povetkin idiot he's not choosing to! It's his mandatory and the WBA is making him take that as his next fight or they are stripping him. Didn't you watch the video. So you saying you believe the Hearn version because of that is fuckin dumb.

    • @billo3314
      @billo3314 6 лет назад

      Beezy Talking Shit you think I didn’t listen to the video. I know Povetkin is a mandatory challenger but I was saying that he should have found a way to make Wilder happen so he didn’t have to fight Povetkin. He could have made more fighting Wilder and increased his brand. Instead he’s fighting a guy that isn’t a big draw and has potential to beat him do to his punching power.

      gotta disagree povetkin was saved by the bell against price 30 seconds more and he would have been ko if it wasn't for prices legendary glass chin he would have won I don't see much risk for aj imo

      scipio2009, which is why Wilder is getting more than twice the money Parker made, and Parkers belt too, its important that you realize that!, Parker was not getting the chance at Undisputed, that's a huge difference, Wilder is getting the chance at all that, plus more than twice the money without having to do any of the hard work gathering the belts together. the attraction is Undisputed, not Wilder!. and Wilder did none of the hard work.

      Dante Gaskins Hearn takes roughly 10% of AJ's fight earnings. AJ fights for a minimum of £15-20m now. So Hearn gets £1.5-2m from that. So, he makes the same, if not more than Wilder without stepping in the ring..lol

      I see where you’re coming from but I think the world just needs too look at the resumes, Joshua has proved time and again he’ll fight anyone. He’s still a relative novice for the amount of fights he has had ( half the amount wilder has had, with better names )
      Don’t think anyone can deny Joshua the fight in the uk, he’s earned it.

    • @Gatheri1
      @Gatheri1 6 лет назад +1

      Hugh Janus it’s pretty clear who is ducking who here. What I miss about the 80s-90/s people
      Fighting because they wanted a war. Just because they loved to fight no one cared about a loss. Wilder needs to shut the fuck up and take the fight anywhere anytime. Sj needs a real test, the next fight for him is such a risk.

    Eddie done the right thing by leaving the contract on the table, and if i was Eddie i wouldnt get involved with all the he says you say stuff because all your doing is making his lame fights in america bigger, i dont understand why Eddie never mentions the fact Deonty was saved by the reff in the Ortiz fight Wilder was gone until the reff stepped in it wouldnt of happened the other way around.

  • @braytown
    @braytown 6 лет назад +15

    Removing things that can be argued just look at the things that can't:
    The timeline - they had an offer for 4 weeks and were well aware that the WBA had called the mandatory
    Wilder has an offer of 7x more than his biggest pay day but calls it Crackhead money and now says 50/50 or nothing
    Form for ducking and avoiding is all on Wilders side, as Eddie says, the resume speaks for itself
    All of the above is irrefutable, yet a lot of Wilders statements since are basically crazy over the top emotionally charged nonsense i.e...
    15M = Crackhead money
    Joshua's team are doing a bad job (he's worth 3x more than wilder in half the fights in a country not even a 3rd of the population)
    and so on.....
    Forget about the fact it's Eddie Hearn and he's a salesman, these are true facts, you can't honestly look at this and think Wilder and all of his managers aren't the ones stalling.

    • @sirdetmist3204
      @sirdetmist3204 6 лет назад +3

      Its gets better, Hearn said hed pay Wilder 5 million to fight anyone of Wilder choice as long as he fought AJ for 15 million next.
      The gap is bigger AJ has made 50 million already, Wilder has made just over 10.
      Its actaully less then a third the UK has about 70 million people the US has over 340 million, thats 5 times more, so hes making 5 times less i a country with 5 times more people so hes earning money at a 25th the rate of AJ if you look at population pool to money earned.

      Wilder made ZERO effort, he only went on social media to sucker chumps like you in. You have no idea what's going on, lol. Wilder has declined 4 offers in the past 9 months from different fighters, he's never had a unification and has no interest in being undisputed. AJ however has been hunting down titles and belts from the start, has achieved more than twice as much in half the time and has made offers to Wilder many, MANY times his best pay day... and still, Wilder ducks. No wonder he earns less than a 10th of what AJ does, because Wilder does sweet fuck all, he's nothing. Deal with it.

      AJ has sent contracts to 4 world champions, only one champion was too afraid to accept, (the one he offered the most money and belts to ducked it) AJ fought 3 of the ones that were not afraid, fought 4 of the current top ten, unified twice, is fighting a top 3 in his next fight, fought an all time great, and is only 21fights into his career.
      Wilder has never sent contracts to any other champion, has never unified, has only fought 1 guy in the top ten, has never fought anyone that is tall 6'5+ with a long reach 80''+ that can hit hard 85%+ and has avoided that sort of fight. imo. and he is 40 fights into his career, only one of these guys has a weak resume.

  • @DsoundsOfficial
    @DsoundsOfficial 6 лет назад +1

    UK fan here. I believe somewhere along the line there was some confusion about Eddie asking for proof of funds and I believe I know what happened. Eddie definitely said he wanted to see proof of funds but that was only in INTERVIEWS and that is because the offer came from a fighter. If a fighter has not earned more than $3m per fight it is not unreasonable to ask for proof of funds. But this is where the confusion comes in. I believe Eddie then spoke to Wilder's representatives (not Wilder) and they confirmed verbally that the money was there or could be raised. Eddie must of thought that if they say the money is there then it must be and at that point he never insisted that they still provide proof. He then said "Ok, we are interested, can we see a contract" but Wilder's team refused to issue the contract until Hearn and AJ accepted. Now, many yanks say "he is lying". No he aint, y'all just hella thick. IF the money was being paid by Wilder himself then yes, Hearn wanted proof of funds and money put into escrow. But Wilder's team were raising the money and therefore Hearn felt that was good enough!!! Do you get it now? FML

    He says it's not about the money, but doesn't want to give Wilder more than 15-30% max. He wouldn't give him 40% even if it meant cementing the fight with whatever stipulations he wants.

    • @mumble97
      @mumble97 6 лет назад +1

      Wilder is worth atleast 40%. Hearn is lowballing him. You can't go based off previous numbers because those are different opponents. This is the fight everyone and their grandma wants to see. Mayweather got 28 Million for his fight against Berto. Then he got 370 Million for his fight against McGregor.

    • @mumble97
      @mumble97 6 лет назад

      What?

    • @mumble97
      @mumble97 6 лет назад

      That's not even what I'm talking about. Mayweather got 28 Million one fight, then he got 370 million the next because of how popular his opponent McGregor was. McGregor got around 30%. Hearn won't even give Wilder 30%. Hearn is lowballing him. He'd be making more fighting Tyson Fury instead.

    • @mumble97
      @mumble97 6 лет назад +1

      You got that wrong, it's Wilder that brings in the money, not the WBC belt. This is projected to be a 100 million dollar fight with Wilder. Without him it's not half that. WBC belt or not. If he gave Parker 30% why won't he give 30% to Wilder? He offered Wilder at most 20 Mil. Give him his 30 million and stop low balling.

    • @mumble97
      @mumble97 6 лет назад

      That's like saying Floyd Mayweather didn't bring any money to the McGregor fight because his fight before he only brought in 28 Million. Then his next fight he brought in 370 Million. He only got 2.1 Million because he was much lesser known then and no one cared too see him fight 40 year old Ortiz. If Wilder isn't bringing in any money then why is Hearn projecting it to be a 100 Million dollar fight? None of AJ's previous fights were 100 million dollar fights... Maybe not 50% but at least 30% which would be 30 million. It's not about him fighting the level of opponents AJ has that makes him deserving of 30%. He deserves it because he brings in the money.

    There are several points that need to be addressed
    1. Wilder wanted his fight with AJ to be his next fight and he wanted it no later than October or November of this year.
    2. Wilder may have agreed to one-sided rematch clause but certainly not to the officials' clause in which only Team Joshua has input on the choice of officials. No one on earth should agree to that.
    3. If Hearn is correct that the WBA had given a number of extensions, then why did they unexpectedly give a 24 hour deadline that shocked everyone? Why did they give that deadline just three days before the delivery of the unsigned contract with Team Wilder's proposed changes as announced by Team Wilder?
    It is July 3rd and still nothing has been signed by Joshua and Povetkin. It is obvious Hearn stalled the fight so that the company he struck a deal with,DAZN, would have US broadcasting rights. That would not have been the case if the DW-AJ fight took place in October/November of this year.

      If truly Eddie is stalling the fight as you suggested, let's Wilder sign the contract then to overturn WBA decision

    • @freedom4mealways
      @freedom4mealways 6 лет назад

      Wilder would not sign only after the WBA imposed its deadline and only after Hearn committed to Povetkin. Wilder wanted the fight this year and on equitable rematch and officials' terms.

    The truth is wilder fans can hate on Eddie and call him the devil and all that but the facts is that wilder team is not interested in the fight and have clearly used Joshua name to push ppv on wilder next fight as all the trolls who go around hating on anything that involve America and another country have all of sudden appeared. Eddie has not delayed In his responses unlike wilder team who seem to go silent until they see a opputunity to make some noise like when they thought the povekin and Joshua fight was signed then wilder team accepted Eddie terms till they realised it was not then they went quiet again and wilder fans latch onto anything and try and twist it like when Hearn said he sent the contract and wilder channels and fans was saying he never sent the contract till Shelley talked about receiving it lol look likensheep behaviour to me. To me this just look like a trump tactic of using the dumb American to further yourself trump as wilder fans can associate with wilder as neither wilder or his fans are that bright.

    Wilder agreed to fight in the UK, he agreed to earn less money, he agreed to a rematch clause, he agreed to everything. Then AJ got scared and insisted that there is only a rematch if AJ loses. Nobody would agree to a one way rematch clause. Plain and simple AJ was scared and he ducked this fight, after Eddie talked a bunch of nonsense about how much he wanted to make the fight happen. 1. Shelly is apart of a 4-5 man team. Shelly/DiBella/Haymon/Wilder/and sometimes showtime. Shelly could have needed the 4 days to iron things out with the rest of the team.
    2. Hearn put out in the media that Wilders team needed 4 weeks to respond. In this video, he admits it was only 4 days.
    3. Hearn says that the $15M contract he sent did in fact have a fight date in April. But the April date only came after he announced the povetkin fight for September. Meaning the initial contract had no date. Why wouldn't he just admit that instead of acting like there was always a date on the contract.

      1. Wilder has not used Joshua name to promote himself 40-0 with 39 KO's is impressive enough.
      2. Why is Eddie Hearn about what's in another man's pocket?
      3. Eddie Hearn can not help himself insulting people and with the disrespect. It helps not making deals.
      4. He doesn't like to talk about money? (See #2)
      5 Eddie Hearn says that he offered Wilder 12.5 million for the fight (30%) of the proceeds. He forgot to tell you Joshua will get $37.5. That a split of 25%-75%). Wilder asked for 40%-60%. The 60% to Joshua. Hearn said no. then said some A side B side gay shit.
      5. That $50 million up front was not in a interview. Joshua left a voice message to Wilder requesting for a 50%-50% split and $50 Million up front. That is all over the internet.
      6. No disrespect to Deontay Wilder? Bitch please! Every word he said about Wilder was disrespectful. Then he goes back to Number2) He sounds like he knows how much money in in Deontay Wilder's pockets. Hearn was making sport claiming that the money wasn't real & he needed to see proof of funds.
      7. Shelly was trying to get Hearn & AJ on a verbal commitment before they can get a contract together. Hearn was supposed to meet with the Wilder camp. Just as soon Hearn touched down in New York City he called the Wilder camp to cancel.
      8. Hearn asked for proof of funds soon as the $50 million was met. The Wilder camp has provided proof of funds. The Hearn changed his story that he wasn't asking for proof of funds. So now he forgot that he publicly said it. (it's in the internet too.)
      9.Hearn & AJ had no intention to negotiate whatsoever because Joshua would figh Wilder in the USA. AJ was crying about that he should fight in the UK.
      10. Improved offer of $15 million and the fight go to the UK. If there was going to be a rematch everything will be reversed. Has they say a reverse fixture for the rematch. Hearn said no. They wanted everything the same for the rematch
      11. Just last week the WBA put out a false alarm that the Wilder & Joshua has 24 hours to negotiate the fight the day after Wilder agreed to sign their bogus contract to deliver it himself to Hearn with his team. You know the WBA or a governing body does not cut into negotiation talks. It was a clear scam.
      11. Hearn claims nobody wants to fight AJ. No Hearn doesn't want to lose his golden goose.

    • @zeizaze5159
      @zeizaze5159 6 лет назад +2

      Wilder has a problem fighting for 15 million but doesn't have a problem fighting for 1 million, thats what sounds more like bullshit to me, the only people who don't want the fight is Wilder himself and especially his fans who care so mucch about Wilders purse split when hes already guaranteed ten times the highest payday of his career regardless of it being 1/3 of the total split. Maybe if Wilder bothered to chase the belts in the first place then he would have the momentum, but since he aint fought anyone and never even made 4 million in a fight, the 15 million is more than generous you cant ask for more than that when your barely worth a fraction of it, stop pussying out and sign the contract .

    • @dalemcilwain
      @dalemcilwain 6 лет назад

      Since he is coming to the UK? He felt he should get at least 40% of the cut. Eddie was too busy low balling Wilder. The Wilder camp is done with Yetti Hearn. But he is Hearn keeps talking about Wilder? Right after the deal fell apart Barry Hearn was begging Wilder to take the fight. Seee you can't dictate to to another champion on where he should fight or get paid. Eddie Hearn's net wroth is what $2 million +? But he's going to tell another man what's in his pockets and will have the balls to rip him. Let's face it. Yetti Hearn needs to talk about Deontay Wilder. If he doesn't? He can't promote himself.

    Hearn is very clever here diminishing the achievements and ability of Ortize. That is a fight I would like to have seen Joshua take a couple of years ago. The reality is that the four best heavyweights are Tyson Wilder Ortize and Wyte. To be the best I feel he needs to go through all of them (Whyte rematch) but I feel Ortize should have had a shot a couple of years ago but he was too dangerous for Joshua.

      TheLamech777 Ortiz has beat literally no one. Joshua has already knocked out Whyte into a coma, Wilder has only beat a 49 year old Ortiz who nearly knocked wilder out in the 7th round but the bell saved wilder. No one, absolutely no one comes close to AJ. Fury is a one fight wonder. He has looked absolutely shit in his past two fight against absolute garbage fighters and got chinned a good few times. Wilder will lay out Fury with ease but that won’t say much. AJ easily beats Wilder. Easily

The reality is Joshua nearly and should have lost to a 41 year old Klitchco who played with his quarry in the ring instead of finishing him off when a Tyson beat a younger version with ease. Whyte had Joshua going at one point and did so with a shoulder problem that he was carrying (although I do see Joshua still doing the business on him admittedly if they where to fight again). Whyte's rankings put him in contention and it's a fight lots of people would like to see. Fury is unbeaten and the lineal champion and ortize two or three years ago would have taken AJ apart. Not now as AJ has been well schooled guided and protected in his progression Wilder is also unbeaten and again I do see joshua as the more complete fighter now who will probably utilize a sound strategy to deliver a knock out or points win but it won't be a walk in the park - he could easily walk onto something big. Joshua looked lame against Takam which was stopped too early and stank, got help from the ref with Parker who gave him a few problems and was being soundly beat by Povetkin till the knock out which was always going to happen when a cruiser weight comes forward against a bigger opponent. BTW povetkin is a million times the Boxer skill wise

      TheLamech777 i get your point but i think you are biased....how old was WK when Tyson beat him? 39....How old was Povetvkin? 39. The truth is WK was still better than Ortiz, pulling more crowd. WK was better coming off a loss and would have beat Fury in a rematch. Mind you AJ thought he had won the match after WK went down in the 6th rd and that was his mistake. There was a reason WK turned down the rematch.... Lets don't be biased AJ has lifted HW boxing again and yes he was thew chosen one because it came unexpectedly too soon with charles martin opportunity but he has backed it up. Deontay deserves to be in a big show now but he doesnt need to force it because he just ducked Whyte openly

    It's well known Hearn is a wheeler dealer Del Boy character. Wilder and Joshua are both as big as each other, both champions so what is unfair in a 50/50 split. But, he offers 12.5 million and wilder offered 50 million. Wilders team produced the money but it still wasn't accepted. Utterly ridiculous. Both have as much to lose. So either Del Boy wanted more money or AJ didn't want the fight.

    • @darrena5384

      cdwilson12 are you insane??? Joshua fights in front of 90,000 and 80,000 sold out stadiums and makes $25 million a fight. Wilder can’t sell out 13k arenas, has never fought pay per view and makes $2-3m a fight. AJ has 3 belts and Wilder has 1. They are absolutely no where even near being close to being as “big as each other”.

      50-50? Are you mad? Are you really mad? Are you really really mad? Check both of tgeir resumes.....how much they earn per fight.....how many belts each has......crowd capacity they pull.....pay per view fights.....etc. Joshua makes millions without even lacing gloves from 26 endorsements. AJ is more popular in America than even Wilder himself. Get yur facts right b4 yu chat nonsense.

    -Why offering Wilder 12M. then 15M (for 2 fights, which he didn't mention) for 100M fight?
    -Why offering Wilder 30% while you offered Kiliticsko (and he was not a champion) 50% and offered Parker 33%?
    All those offers were meant to drive Wilder away,

    The only thing I understand about this whole situation is Anthony Joshua did say " if you give him $50 million upfront he accept the fight". I understand they were suppose to meet and discuss the whole issue which wilder team failed to do. I don't know the whole story about this, but if they were to come together discuss it when it was suppose to happen, this fight would have been happen. I do think the fight should be at least 60-40 due to the fact Anthony Joshua is the A side. One thing is for certain though neither fighters want this fight as bad as they say they do. Here's why. #1 Since Anthony is the A side he should be the one make calls and keep negotiate until the fight happen. #2 If wilder wanted the fight he would have came and met up like he was suppose to and the fight mostly would have happen. I'm on no one side because both of them are bitching at this point about money. When this should be a fight on who is the best undisputed in the world.
