I'm very exhausted to see people criticizing Bruce, this is so unfair in my opinion. We're talking about a 62 years old man that recovered from cancer singing for an hour and a half during months. That show was at the end of the tour, that just means that the energy isn't the same than in the beginning, it's pretty normal. The band gives all of his energy for the fans, especially Bruce who's running and jumping all long. You're so cruel saying Maiden is dead while they're improving their shows to give the best experience and unforgettable memories. Please understand that they're touring since 40 years and the early days aren't the reality of now. Compare what's comparable! There's only one Iron Maiden, enjoy the fact they still do concerts all around the world :))
Listen to Klause Meine, Rob Halford, Geoff Tate, Michael Kiske etc. all are between 50 and 70 and sound a lot better. He can't sing live anymore, what's wrong with saying the truth? Elton John, George Michael etc. were/are all old but skilled singers at their age.
I'd like to see anyone criticizing Bruce do better. And no, I'm sorry Halford and Tate's voices are nowhere near their prime years. Halford nor Tate can hit those high notes anymore. It doesn't really matter to me they can still sing great. But don't go to a concert expecting to hear that self same studio album sound 40 years later. It's just not gonna happen. The vocalist suffers most over the years. Voices get worn out especially in high projection voices as is case with Dickinson Tate and Halford, but don't let that take away from a great concert experience. Give respect where it's due. And honestly Bruce's voice is much better here than on Live After Death.

Indeed. I recently realised that the last album I bought was in 1986, Somewhere in Time and saw them on the Piece of Mind tour. Still finding inspiration in Maiden. This live album is awesome! 🙌
I'm 58 and I've been listening since my 20s. Probably since 23 years old. I went to the World Slavery Tour in '85 in Dallas Texas at the old Reunion Arena.

Saw this tour twice maiden kicking ass !!!! Not many bands left .Bruce may not sound the same , well be is nit 20 anymore . Guy beats mouth cancer , and some people on this site knocking him ? It’s a live show !!!!!!🤘🏻
Starting with ACES HIGH then WHERE EAGLES DARE???????? Wow, just wow and incredible for any singer young or aged. Bruce didn't blow out his voice like many, many others who smoked and did drugs and drank mass amounts of alcohol. Bruce did everything to preserve his vocals during his entire career and we should be happy that he did that to give his best performance. All of the band did.
I just love them so much!! I'm ashamed to admit it but before I saw this show in Manchester I had been thinking that surely by now they would showing signs of age but no, not a bit of it!! They were as on fire as they've always been, there's no backward step with these boys! Bruce especially just blew me away, to still sound as he does, especially given the battle with his health that he had to take time to fight, is just beyond astounding! The man even tripped and crashed over one his monitors early in the show and he just jumped right back up like he would have when he was 25, even joking and taking the piss out of himself at the end of the song. Honestly, the energy of this band, the commitment, the sheer fucking off the chart talent and ability!! I could eulogise about them individually and collectively for hours!! Iron Maiden have been a constant and faithful companion to me for something like 40 years now, it honestly gives me dread to imagine a world without them in it! Up The Irons! 🤘🤘🤘
He does in a few songs quite clearly, but Aces HIgh, Sign Of the Cross, Hallowed be thy Name and Run to the HIlls not a bit of it. PRetty incredible yes!!!
Been a Maiden fanatic since 1983. I've seen them many, many times. Mostly in the 80 s and early 90,s. Also in 2011 for the Final Frontier album. Haven't seen them live since then. So I'm happy that I could some-what experience the recent, Legacy of the Beast Tour from 2019. I could've went the night of that show. A few guys I work with went. I'm still mad at myself for not going. Because honestly....Maiden are one of the last, and best, original metal bands out there and still sounding great! And they're still relevant! And....They still have the same members from since 1983. How can you not respect that? Just a fan from NYC now in Ft. Lauderdale.
Problem I find with so many of these hateful Bruce comments is that apparently you don't understand the kind of singing Bruce is doing. This is projection vocalizing. This isn't softly muttering your voice about like a crooner. For this type of music the vocals fit great. It's power singing. Your basically throwing your voice out there in a way that takes a strong and disciplined voice. Very few people can do it and fewer still can hold on to it for decades on end as Bruce has. Give respect where it's due. And personally speaking I feel this is a great concert recording.
I have been listening to this album, since it came out through my computer stock speakers. I went out and got a surround Onkyo system. This album is fucking amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing....specially the drums. Fucking hell, Maiden is beyond words.

Nah, you notice his age and also the cancer treatment he had a few years ago. I heard them live in 2019 and it was clear that the whole band is going towards their natural end, as much as it hurts to admit. Also the reason I don't expect much of their next album in terms of performance quality.
@@Asto508 : Nah! I think you're just bored with Maiden. They've been around a long long long time. I could understand how one would become bored with them. But I'm not! Seen them many times. First time was back in 1982/83. When they played with Judas Priest. And then many times after that. But I haven't seen them play live since 2011. But in my opinion, they never disappointed me. They always put on a great show when I've seen them. I do understand what you're saying though. They are getting old. But they have stood the test of time! Better than any band out there. Including Priest and Metallica. Way better! I love all three bands; and seen all of them numerous times over and over throughout the years. I'm 54! And if I had a choice to go to a concert.....I would choose Maiden over Priest or Metallica these days. To me, this album sounds acceptable. It has a great live feel. I like it! Even though it's very similar to Live After Death! But I do respect your opinion.
@@freddyferrillo9704 I'm definitely not bored with Maiden and I was going to see them this year too before Covid fucked that up. If you haven't seen them since 2011, you don't really know what I'm refering too. They are at an age where it goes down a lot faster than when they were in their 40s and 50s, especially for vocalists.

Its not that he cant do it anymore its that his voice has changed and he is approaching the tracks differently, Honestly, I wish they had worked on a new studio album instead of this.
@@metalfordays He had a flu on this show, check Paris 2018 instead, he sounded much better can reach the most of the high notes without babbling, not to mention he sings the lyrics a lot more than he does here, The Clansman, For the Greater Good of God, also Flight of Icarus's choruses aren't delayed like this version.
Bruce sounds better on this than he did on Live After Death. This kind of singing guys is extremely hard on your voice. That reaching deep back to pull out the notes is harsh. Bruce is old and his voice is getting worn out but he still sounds great. You gotta remember this is a 60+ year man that's been doing this for decades. You can't expect his voice to sound like it did at Reading with Samson back in 81', not like it did with Maiden on the Number of the Beast tour.
Bruce's voice is on the verge of bearable. He really should find another way to sing the treble, it almost feels like the vocal cords are about to tear.

I agree, Bruce doesn't sound that great on this but, considering his age and what he has gone through with throat cancer, he did fine. The rest of the band is as good as ever. I am a drummer and at 51, I have trouble playing death metal like I use to in the 80's and 90's. We all get old and want to still play. Some times our body's say, NO!
@@erikkroll2154 agree. I have closely looked observed his role and its more of a theatrical thing, confusing public on purpose: example they might be playing a rithm section, Yannick be making as if hes playing a solo, and vice versa, sometimes It dont make sense what he doing.
Janick needs to disappear permanently. That's why their studio albums sound so busy. Caveman has problems with 3 guitarists! I mean who wants Adrian and Dave Only!!!! Bring Yanick on your only.

@@freddyferrillo9704 You called it right, every one gets older. But they still sound great!!!!!!
It’s not the same. He is trying to hard. Down 1/2 tune and would fit perfectly
Saw this tour in Las Vegas. Band was in top form and the setlist was great. Up the Irons! \m/
Saw them in San Antonio on this tour !
Very nice
Love hearing the Mexican's singing "For The Greater Good Of God" as it was a complimentary song.
Damn, they didn't include Dance of Death on here. That was a grand live dvd concert.
Thats because it wasn't included in the setlist.... they haven't played Dance of Death for a long time.
Awesome TY friend.
Grandeeeeee IRON MAIDEN !!!!!!!!! VIVA MÉXICO 🇲🇽!!!!!!!!!!
Viva!!!!

Steve Harris is the world best master Bass Guitarist in the world.
Seen a lot of your comments on these videos.
English is not your thing huh?
Billy Sheenan as well is a great Bassist. There's literally tons of awesome Bassist' who have sadly missed the lime light.

Its not that he cant do it anymore its that his voice has changed and he is approaching the tracks differently, Honestly, I wish they had worked on a new studio album instead of this.
Cancer and age has alot to answer for.
Lmao little did you know 😂
Bruce sounds better on this than he did on Live After Death.
Iron Maiden fica no show Legacy of the Beast World Tour '22 que o Ivan e a Dani foi no show.

😎Iron Maiden. For ever
amazing live, amazing sound, drums
f☆☆k, Nicko is under 70 years old!!!!
up 70 years of age!
Glad I listened to this before I bought the vinyl lol I love me some iron maiden but I'll have to pass on this one
Iron Maiden is Metal Poetry.
Argentina: im a joke to you? Llanto aparte, me encanta este setlist, debería apostar más a tocar viejos temas como Where Eagles Dare y Fligth of Icarus y temas mas "raros" como For the Greater Good of God

Up the Irons
Echo en falta desde hace años, Powerslave :(
I agree, Bruce doesn't sound that great on this but, considering his age and what he has gone through with throat cancer, he did fine. The rest of the band is as good as ever.
I am a drummer and at 51, I have trouble playing death metal like I use to in the 80's and 90's. We all get old and want to still play. Some times our body's say, NO!
Mal audio.
I thinks it's about bloody time only Adrian plays HIS solo in the Trooper, it's sounds shit with Janick doing one too
I don't think they should have Janick, at all.
@@erikkroll2154 maybe just for rythym
@@erikkroll2154 agree. I have closely looked observed his role and its more of a theatrical thing, confusing public on purpose: example they might be playing a rithm section, Yannick be making as if hes playing a solo, and vice versa, sometimes It dont make sense what he doing.
Janick needs to disappear permanently. That's why their studio albums sound so busy. Caveman has problems with 3 guitarists! I mean who wants Adrian and Dave Only!!!! Bring Yanick on your only.
Te amo iron maiden 👌🤘❤
Best ever
