- Well as you can tell by the title... yes i gave the aqua Vu another shot, and yes i did catch fish. Not many fish as you can see how many truly did come around the area i was fishing, however it is a blast seeing them approach the baits and bite them. However, i did notice myself fishing differently when watching the camera, and not focusing on working the technique properly causing many fish not to bite. Dont get hypnotized by the camera as the slightest wrong movement in the technique can shy a fish away.
Hope you enjoyed this video, it got cut short due to Severe winds reaching up to 65km/hr BUT we made the most out of it and got a few to take the high hook.

Great video. What I did to my clam for windy days is installed an eye bolt in the back corners with washers so I can anchor the hut down with straps, put the anchors about 4' away but on a 45 degree then strap it. The hut can't move and I install an anchor at the front inside the hut and twist the handle over the bar. Never flipped up since.
I’ll have to give that a shot🤘😎thank you for the support as always!!
love the release on the white fish! VERY rare to see that
More tips, more tricks. Love videos that are educational. Thanks Joey
The frustration in the first 4 minutes sums up my entire season chasing whitefish. Marking more than I can count and that’s about it 😂
Try the top hook it usually foools one🤘
@@Joey.T If you don't mind what tube are you using to tip your bottom jig???
Great Video Joey, thanks for putting this up. Great to see them come in like that and just turn away sometimes. Just noticed the amount of what looks like Zebra mussels, if that's what they are. Unreal numbers!
The fish hate those cameras man! LOL We have to mark about 50 fish to catch 15 with a camera down. I feel your pain! The footage of the fish once it snapped your line was crazy! I was your 100th Like!
Indeed they do hate it!! Wow 15 on cam that’s good!! And thanks for the like 🤘If u catch a vibrato holler at me!! Lol
Some absolute dingers in this vid! Aqua vu makes it so fun to watch
It is fun to watch but at the sacrifice that you probably won’t catch many
As always a great watch . Can’t wait for the next one
Thank you brother 🤘😎
Great video, makes it so entertaining fir the viewers. Great job Joey! 😎
Thank you 🙏
Amazing video, I love whitefish, have yet to catch one though
Thank you and Keep at it and you’ll get one for sure!!😎
Ouch! Feeling your pain with that Whitie swimming off with your lures. Also, thanks for sharing the Windfinder app, never though of downloading one but that will definitely help me keep track of winds out there.
Such a buzzkill!! And ya that app I always check out so I know how I gotta set my hut up and forecast for the upcoming week
Good video as always Joey.
Check up hooks rusting out in fresh water. They take months or even longer. I hooked a brown on opener in a tiny creek and it broke me off. I caught that brown in July with my hook and the mesh from the roe bag still in its lip. Not a spot of rust on the hook and it was a number ten. Good news is fish are very good at shaking out hooks. 👍🏻
Thanks Dave!! And oh damn long time, their mouths r delicate so I’m sure they will shake it off
Nice video!! Where can we buy the drop shot lure you are using?
Awesome video as usual, your enthusiasm is always contagious! So much so, in fact, that we are planning to go searching for whitefish on Simcoe ourselves this weekend. Never caught one before! We are coming down from Georgian Bay, is there anywhere (preferably north side) you can recommend we try?
Excellent photography!
Thank you so much 😀
Hey Joey! Love the videos. I hear what you mean about camera gear. What cameras do you run?
I use a cannon M50 and a gopro hero 9 black, underwater camera is a aqua Vu HD10i
Great vid and call to get off when you did. Guess you don't peg your hut down. Maybe worth considering.
I’d have to figure out how to peg the flip over huts as I don’t have a popup
@@Joey.T Call a truck canvas repair shop. Bet for peanuts they can sew/attach an eyelet to a small strip of canvas and sew the strip to each exposed corner allowing pegs.
Great video as always Joey. Hoping to get up there before she closes to bang a few. Tight-lines.
Thank you 🙏 Their chewing so get on up here
@@Joey.T I have never been up in the north end of Simcoe. They say it is very different then the lower to middle half of the lake. We normally go out of BBP, Longshoal or Willow Beach. Do you know if the ice conditions are better more consistent out of the north? Not asking for spots dude...just wondering what public areas are people going out of from the north end of the Lake? I know a buddy goes out from Brechin pt...but I haven't gone out yet this year. The weather is not the greatest and when you are traveling from Niagara, you kind of want to know you are good before you make the trip. LOL
Hey Joey name on the jig can't find it at all or maybe a link to were u buy it :)
U have nice whities :)
What type and size of hook you using for the top hook ? Love the content Joey keep it up!
I use a gamakatsu octopus size 4 hook in red
@@Joey.T thank you !!
Are those Zebra mussels on the bottom?
yes
Where do you get these dart minnows from I can’t even find them on google or anything maybe I’m just dumb 😅
Pro J tackle Carry’s them bud🤘😎
tell me, buddy, how do you set the camera and how high from the bottom? Can you tell me please, because I can never set it because I don't know how much I need your help
I use the tripod, and I set it up 6ft from my hole and I use the aqua vu tripod to get the right angle
@@Joey.T At what angle do you set the camera on the tripod How high above the DNA level This is my question because there are three angles straight from above 90 degrees and 45 Do you set it to 45 or something
New subscriber. Just wondering what rod and reel you are using. Thanks.
Thank you 🙏 and I’m using a Gloomis IMX 351F it’s a 35inch medium light 🤘but has a good backbone!!
@@Joey.T thanks. Great videos by the way.
