We popped this cassette in and kitten went from meowing constantly to dead silent for the duration of the song. Right after it ended, it let out a HUGE meow. We both looked at each other and said, 'Turbo?' He looked at us like, 'Yea, that's my name, don't forget it'.

The reaction to synths on this album was ridiculous. It’s a solid album and this song rocks. I think there was a tendency maybe to see this album as selling out or getting to glossy or something, when really they were just evolving and trying new things to keep it fresh. They had done more streamlined, commercial, and accessible songs for a while by this point but I don’t think they ever tipped too far in one direction. They still maintained their unique sound and style. Wanting the same kind of metal over and over doesn’t compute with me, bands need to experiment and change or grow, otherwise they become stale.

I love this song, but only one thing hinders it from greatness. You will feel the turbo, but only if you change the speed to 1.25x. Just a little bit of extra tempo turns this from a good high octane song to a ripping, raging fireball of speed hitting your ears. Follow your heart. Press that turbo button. Feel that No2 hit your veins like fuel burning and get ready to bang your head.
