    Heavy flowering on a very young avocado tree is a sign of distress? Maybe something wrong with it?

    Since you are a Nurseryman, I wanted to ask: what is the rationale for up-potting? I can understand with seed starting and very small plants so they don’t dry out, but once my tree babies are 2-3’ tall, is there a reason to pot into a 10gallon, then into slightly larger pots as they grow, as opposed to just planting into the final XL pot that they will live in permanent?
