Thank you! In an interview Yoongi taught us 밥문나 in Busan dialect. It's really interesting that there's an equivalent in Jeolla-do and that both are used to sort of ask how you are, if I'm understanding well.
You're right. In Korea, basically asking if you have eaten is a kind of greeting. It applies to anywhere, including Seoul. Just the dialect of the region changes.
