Yes if I had to use mine in a self defense situation I'd be devastated being without it while investigation is going on so I am on the fence about carrying it for EDC. I have a G19 that is decked out and with everything on it/in it, it is very close to the same price as my Staccato P so 🤷♂️. It's literally no comparison at the range between a striker fired or the 1911/2011 style weapon system. Sure striker fired has their place in combat and being very reliable in duty and real world tests but these 1911 double stack weapons have came a very long ways in reliability as well. Good video 🤙
I started with a Glock 22 Gen 3 RTF2 then our department went to G22 Gen 4. After I retired, they went to g17 Gen 5. I would have loved to carry my staccato on duty. Is your duty Staccato P the steel or aluminum frame?
It's a nice gun for the range for sure, but would I risk carrying it as a duty gun... I think not. I say this to begin our conversation on why I feel the Staccato is not fit for duty as to be a duty/combat gun

17 and the 22 are the same size frame. The new 22 gen 5 actually has a thicker slide than the 17!
Glock 22 and 17 frame size is the same.
