There is something really special about listening to stories of elders . If you listen well , you pick up some wisdom and life lessons.
These ‘jajjas’ seem really happy, and fulfilled. Despite hinting on the fact that life hasn’t always been easy for either of them ,it still makes me almost envy the friendship they have had and continue to have - it’s real and genuine and has stood the test of time . This is what retirement should look like .
Indeed.. so much to learn from them 😄
I watched 2 Ugandan movies as a kid, Idi Amin and the martyrs of Uganda. We actually have alot of Catholic schools in Zambia named after the martyrs. I attended St kizito primary school, my younger brother went St Mukasa, and my dad was a lecturer at Charles Lwanga college.
Cool.
That's so interesting.. i didnt know the uganda martyrs were that famous.. my Alevel was at uganda maytryrs high school which is just at the martyrs shrine in namugongo... Uganda maytrys.. pray for us 🙂

Indeed you really made it Dr Mukasa, imagine doing medicine as a female in the 60s👏👏👏👏👏 yours is a very special story.
Right! so inspirational .. it must have been so tough back then
Every moment of life is worth enjoying
It really is
Allow me to start spamming with my comments anti i have got a moment to catch up- I love love these ladies
Imagine JJajja Beth worked as an air hostess- I love both of their introductions
Also I love the UK that it allows us to retrain
Yes I like JJajja Flavia’s advice- it starts with us eliminating the self stigma then we can sore.
JJajja Flavia’s work schedule back then sounds like LTFT but a better version
I received the relocation fee as well about £500 but the service JJajja Flavia mentions sounds like heaven.
WOW
🙂
Yes they should come back 😊
let's see how to convince them 😄
They were sooo brave to come to the land of the colonisers just very shortly after Ugandan independence 😂😂
Hahaha
