The meta stats from the previous episode showed Knight 100% countered the Berserker, so every time you banned the Knight the AI automatically takes the Berserker since it doesn't have its hard counter
Also reduced def is good on berserker it gains stats from lost health
If you're reluctant to get rid of named characters.... Consider reusing names after recruitment. Leaving the league and coming back way stronger is totally a classic storyline you should bring in!

This is my favorite series so far. Something about the blend of auto battler with managing the team is so perfect. Keep it coming!!
I think having a player with the "Coward" attribute using Ninja is a very bad combo, since they won't attack the ranged back liners without a teammate next to them. It's essentially a hard self-counter. Thoughts?
Yeah I feel Coward goes way better on certain warriors like Swordsman. Reto used that combo once and it worked way better than on his carries. When the DPS/Support backup fails run until it‘s back online.
I love how the patching system works, ended up getting a swordsman with less hp than priestess 😂
I have a shrine maiden with 1.3 attack speed and the next patch had her cd reduced by .5 seconds...and somehow she had a 40% winrate by the bots...meanwhile she was doing 1.3k damage and 1k healing per game. This games patches are nutty.

Ended up buying the game after your original video, but the patch cycles are really weird sometimes.
I ended up having priestess get her damage and attack speed buffed even though she already had a 52% winrate, and ninja got 4 consecutive nerfs (to the point he had 10 damage and 0.5 attack speed) and was still completely overpowered apparently with a 63% winrate.
It primarily bases off of pick ban combined with win rate, I had like 5 priestess buffs in a row despite her win rate being like 70, the reason being only I was picking her, so she won 70% of...my games, a smaller sample than say 60% on Ninja who gets banned or picked in just about every game early on.
Shrine Maiden with a good front line is really good in the early patches, btw. Her base kit is insane, almost matches priestess' healing while doing 80% of a dps as well.

@@Thor8151990 id believe it. The early bots are allergic to shrine maiden for some reason. I got all the way to Pro Div 2 before shrine maiden got nerfed...and won every game I picked Shrine Maiden + any unnerfed tank. Meanwhile, they'll spam ninja into the ground and get him down to 5 AD before they finally give him up.
is it not RNG? or does it always follow certain rules? Teh patches and everything

It is on a break until it gets the major overhaul patch then I will see where we are at. Views started plummeting, so I figured it would be better to not burn myself out ahead of the huge changes.
Thanks for clearing that out reto and honestly if the next update/patch does not add gud stuff I won't be sad and this game might even be better and I am willing to wait thank you reto keep the awesome content up!
Don't know why you upgraded the gaming house instead of just firing someone to hire that OP as hell looking character. Enjoying the series though, game looks fun.

By the way, don't underestimate the AI pick and bans, they were patched by the devs last year to be a lot more smarter and sufficient.

I think you need to take counters and synergy more into account than winrate or nerfs

I recommend going for the Monk, Berserker and Sniper Build.
After you unlock the Gunner and Shieldbearer try the Shieldbearer, Gunner, Shrine Maiden Build.
All strategies aside, again love the commentary

I have now been playing for a full day, and I'm in the second pro league? I have a team of four, and my home of operations is in the third stage. I have lost once
Im a little late to the party, but i don't think the ult from the sniper in that last match was bad. Not optimal, yes, but it got a high damage warrior out from behind your spawn.

Ghost/Zerker the best combo. The Zerker ult almost guarantee's 3-4 stacks
the nerf to beserker helps it some as it gets stronger the lower its health is and has a regen ability, with lower defense it risks dying fast but has enough hp and healing that it just stacks its stats up faster than it usualy does

Knight is a perma ban 3v3s on red side.
in 3v3 zerker is a pick or ban must.

Since you play Priestess + tank + dps, you should be banning Swordsman or Ghost. You can keep Knight + Shield Bearer in the pool so you guarantee getting your tank. The opponent playing a tank is good for you because you have Priestess to win the tank duel.
This is amazing. I was always horrible at MOBAs. I feel like the abstraction layer this game is at might actually be the fun part of the genre, and now I don't need to grind out MOBA skills to enjoy it!
in my playthrough we had a mage meta where if you didn't run a mage you lost the match, it didn't help that since I did true random, I never had any marksmen units for seasons. Also they just keep on nerfing Priestess who had a 0% pick rate. I am enjoying the game way to much, and how different your gameplay is from mine makes this a lot more interesting.
