Tim: I just purchased a lot of your material online…. Second hand. I have a few questions: Do you strictly day trade because a lot of these stocks have multi day moves. Do you consider cultures or where the company is domiciled because you get some huge volatility in some markets overseas due to macro trends, currency concerns and their link to other more developed economies or just the “caffeine” nature of market participants . (?}? Finally, the news sources and promoters….how do you stay on top of it because what you have just outlined if skillfully executed could give the participant what…five hundred percent gains in a few months? Thanks, Dan.
He doesn't focus on company culture, just pumps/hype. Also, he never holds for a 500% gains. He'll just get 15-20% of the move then wait for another Pattern the next day. Holding for a long time is dangerous because it can gap down, halted etc, or you give back your gains.
@@miscellaneous3372 : I am quite aware of his methods and will immerse myself in study of the voluminous material I purchased for a King’s ransom. I hope one day to become one of his students’. I do not look upon Tim Sykes and his harem of followers as “operators”…like a Joe Kennedy stock manipulator of the 1920’s but rather very very bright young people that have found their niche in the world of finance and I am growing to love them because they are good people in a culture wherein Carl Ichan said if one wishes to make a friend on Wall Street…buy a dog. . I have noticed many nasdaq stocks are great bottoms up plays for doubles and triples for sure. Studying Tim Sykes and his brilliant protege Tim Grittani and Jack the former valet is very intriguing , especially Grittani , - so young and such a brilliant giving mensch!! One of my goals i is to write a financial thriller and if by some miracle it gets off the ground the culture that Tim Sykes has created will be featured. Finally, Tim Sykes is more than just a trader, teacher, intellectual….he is a man who cares deeply about the world and feels this insatiable urge to give back. He’s a great salesman and this Shylock want to be has quickly grown to adore him.
