I drove and walked the battlefield-huge, varied terrain, lots of plaques describing the attack! A must visit site!as a horsewoman,I would have paid a lot to ride the battlefield on horseback with a certified tour director!
I was there there the year before and took a lot of pics but no video. This is great in bringing back the memories of my visit. A must visit place for anyone interested in the American Old West.
Walked the park in 07 what history we have Standing tuff with the Stars an Strips what a glorious time to be Free Alpha 1/9 Marines in the valley of death the A Shau in 69 0331
Having just come from this very poignant area, there is just so much wrong with this “ drive by”. To have an EPIC JOURNEY one should do some research and try to portray a sense of realization. The guy jumping out of the truck to expedite the taking of 2 pics is classic! Do you know that this is a National Cemetery as well with veterans from all conflicts up to Vietnam buried here? Good luck in your future videos!
Yes & no, if it was the only video on RUclips then I would agree. However when you see the distances between the the clashes between the 7th & the locals by car, imagine the time it took by horse & on foot. I always though Reno & Bentsen could have gone to Custers assistance, but now I can’t see how they could have. I was way too far with the uneven ground between them.
White headstone markers scattered for miles in small groups and singular, a very disorganised battle, no cohesion and no real defence lines, it was an interesting tour but that road was unnecessary and desecrates hallowed ground...
I’ve never been there but I know everything about the Litlle Big Horn battle. That was super to see it like this. Thanks so much.
Gives a good idea of the scale of the ground over which the engagement took place.

I had the good fortune to ride the battlefield on horseback in 1969. Makes a big difference as to what went on.
I was shocked to see so many people at the monument, it would be great to see with nobody there.
hmmmm...nothing...no description....Narration....?
Frank James Check out video series by "CusterAppolo" for detailed info on the Little Bighorn battle...it's a superb collection on the subject.

Have not visited since 1994. No Indian memorial then. Signage has improved. Took photos on Weir Point (not owned by park service then).

Good point
Neanderthal Outdoors --200 fighting maybe 2000 and you expect cohesive lines? Lol
@@wolfpak8228 The 7th consisted of over 650 men.
Badr Ivanov 650 men Scattered over 3-4 miles...don't forget that.
The road is very necessary to allow access to the grounds, otherwise only a minute fraction of visitors could possibly reach it.
A very lonely place to die
Yuk.
