The sandwich rolls look brilliant for lunch boxes! My daughter struggles to eat fast enough, so loves to have sushi for lunch (California rolls) so it's quick and tasty (though I'm still learning, and haven't mastered how to make the rice tasty with the mirin). I will try these with her! Would love more ideas for kids lunch box! Xxx

If you have a chance, please try this sushi rice (though these are not rolls, but maybe you can skip other part, and just see how to make sushi rice).

I love your channel. Simple and very Japanese and easy to adapt to what one might have in other parts of the world. Some basic stuff is needed though, but even here in Romania I can find them in some shops and online. In Japan I copied many sandwiches in konbinis, my favourite was the simple egg salad sandwich with bread without edges. Made it at home, but easier and almost same cost to hop on the bicycle and go by the 7/11 and buy one plus a cold chuhai, eat in a park on long drives in Fukuoka. Your sandwiches and food is beatiful! Arigato!

im intolerant to pepper, when i went to japan i had stomach problems all the time during my stay, guess i know why haha, even when i told people in restaurants if there was anything without pepper of if they could make it without it they would say yes but still put it in anyways, why do the japanese put pepper in everything!? on the plus side since i cant eat japanese food in restaurants for this reason i learned and cook a lot of the dishes, tomorrow im making my own gyozas!! I love japanese food so much but i swear its trying to kill me unless i make it myself haha

The prawn sandwich is very cool. It never occurred to me to fry in a tamago pan, but it’s a good size, I’ll give it a try.

Oh, you have a tamago pan too! Yes, I use it in every meal haha. I like the size coz it's not too big and not too small, and easy to wash.
The prawn sandwich is very tasty! Hope you will enjoy it too :D

@@JapaneseCookingChannel I'm always amazed by the quality of Japanese toys. If something like this was made in the USA it would either be $80 or just not work at all or both.
