I represented my husband I found in his records chronic major depression which is not curable also he had a C3 injury hit by a habitual drunk driver we spent 2 years Illinois kept denying him we had moved to California we got a call within 3 weeks for hearing the rehabilitation rep and medical expert didn’t make a peep the judge said I’m so sorry you were treated so poorly by Illinois and the rubber stamp denied but not today congratulations my husband literally collapsed in tears 😭they back paid him too
Has someone who won their disability case, this is a great video full of good tips. I don't remember when I saw the help of an attorney but I ended up going to the judge with his help remotely Believe it or not. My attorney was out of state and I happen to find him through a disability help website and it was well worth the amount that he was paid. Definitely have a history of going to your doctor in speaking to them about your difficulty working and WHY you can't work. Give them a day-to-day scenario, and even tell them how you've been disciplined at work for not being there which was my case. The one thing I would not recommend is asking your doctor to be supportive because they always feel that you're trying to take advantage of them and they feel that they will get into some type of legal trouble! That was my experience so I just stuck to tell him that I was having problems working.

If you’re on retirement, you’re already receiving the same amount of money you would have received had you been approved for Social Security disability benefits. Let me clarify that statement. If you retired prior to your full retirement age, you are receiving less than you would have had you applied for and been approved for disability benefits. A person doesn’t get to double dip and receive Social Security retirement benefits as well as Social Security disability benefits. The fact that you receive SSI benefits suggests that your retirement benefits are modest. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be receiving SSI because it’s means-tested. Social Security benefits are not means-tested.
Hello Sir, I was denied back on September 2023 and applied for recon end of October. But before I was denied k was already seeking mental health care by a psychiatrist and an LCSW couselor. But my primary medical vi seen was systemic sclerosis which I had been and still being treated by a rhumatologist. But SSA never sent me or ask to have an evaluation for my systemic sclerosis (autoimmune disease) but rather SSA sent me to a mental health evaluation. Why would SSA have sent me only to a mental health evaluation? Is it because I had not been treated my a specialist (psychiatrist) and rather my regular NP who do not specialize in that?
Does widow's benefits have a back pay when the husband was the soul provider & the wife was|is disabled? I've been told, I must wait until my 50th bday before I can apply for widow's benefits. Just turned 48. They also said that I wouldn't be able to get his full social.
Hello sir, my son is 100% disabled vet, he was turned down for SSI a couple of times and then time ran out for him to try again. Is there any way he can go back on it? There is no way he can live on what he receives from the VA and he is not allowed to work.
I had to early retire December 2021. They had me to apply for retirement and SSDI cause it wasn't for sure if I would get approved. My problem is, I became full retirement age on, August 2023. I am going around and round with this. By me reaching full retirement age, is there a chance that I can receive SSDI? I had to take a 30% cut because of early retirement.

Hi correction ! I am on SSI and Retirement my disability is worse then I thought. Can I apply and get approved?

Not sure what you are receiving now.

Sorry, not sure why they did that.
SSA does not make the decision on the initial or recon it’s the state that decides
They both do...different decisions
why y9our live videos are no downloadable ?
No idea. That's a RUclips thing.

You can file for disabled widows benefits at 50 years old.

Get a Social security lawyer for consultation.
WOW 😲 this shock's me I will be praying for your son he served this country and this country should be serving him.
Is appeal and reconsideration the same thing?
A reconsideration is part of the appeal stage. Good question, thanks!!

Unfortunately, nobody receives disability after their full retirement age.
But I applied in December 2021. I hadn't reach full retirement yet😮@@MyGovExpert
Can someone that's on SSI and on SS file and get approved for SSI?
If you're already on SSI, then you've been approved for SSI.
