Walk Against Family Violence 2022 | Launch Housing

The team from Launch Housing joined thousands of Melburnians on the steps of the Old Treasury Building on Friday, 25th November 2022, to take part in the Walk Against Family Violence. Coordinated by Safe Steps, the theme for 2022 was Respect Women: Call It Out
When most people think of homelessness, they imagine one thing - a person, probably a man, sleeping on the street. But there are different types of homelessness that are all gendered in some way.
Launch Housing supported this prevention message while recognising the role of family violence in driving homelessness rates in women and children.
