It is amazing how beautifully he skates at galas and shows like this - competitive skating restrained him far too much. It's beautiful to see him just express the music so freely.
He is the only male skater who can skate spectacularly to any kind of music and have it 'flow' through his body in a completely different way (he is so attuned to each piece of music): from rock, to 'pop' (like "Ne Me Quitte Pas") to classical (Grieg Piano Concerto, where he reminded me of the balletic John Curry); recently I liiked "The Water", "Run", "Sense".....oh, practically everything he does. When he connects with a singer really well, there's just this sensation that he's flying.

@@simgenurgunay1009 That is debatable. From a physical standpoint you are correct that being gay does not make you less manly. But in my experience growing up around them and working with them, they always exhibit, more or less, feminine mimick unless they are still in the closet. Stephane is a great dancer and performer. I have never once considered his skating gay. He may be gay, but in my opinion, his skating is not.

With the exception of the irritating cut backs to the band... I've rarely seen a skating video shot and cut so beautifully and fluidly. God damn.
A few other shots are i think not a good choice either which is irritating it's like the cameraman is incredibly good but the editor is incompetent
