Medical students' vlogs, especially Rachel's, are what's keeping me sane this year, honestly. Imagine being in Lebanon in 2020. Oh wait, this is real for me!
I just want to say that you seem like such a sweet, caring, empathetic and grateful person! Don’t ever lose that! Don’t let the status and power of being a Doctor take away from this authentic person you are. As a nurse, it is really heartbreaking to see these new doctors come in and go from having such wonderful personalities and then transforming into sometimes very selfish, egotistical and downright mean people to both patients and other nurses and medical personnel who work with them! That’s all :) I really enjoy your videos and getting the inside scoop on the process of becoming a doctor!
My goal isn’t to become a doctor. I want to be a nurse, maybe even an NP but that’s it. However, I really enjoy your vlogs and seeing what medical school is like! Keep up the hard work!
@@graciedavis6112 There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a nurse or an NP. Nurses play a HUGE part of the medical/health field. Nurses do a lot. Hi Rachel! Your excel chart that lists all your topics, how many times you studied that particular lecture, and when you should review the material is such a great idea! I think I'll do that to finish up the semester for finals and hopefully continue to next! I'm still in undergraduate school, but I'll be going to grad school in the next year or so, so it will be great to finally get super organized about everything!! I do have a question for you though: How do you rate the difficulties of the lecture and are you given the different topics? Or are those just something you broke down from the lecture by parts? I just want to understand your chart organization a bit more! You were great at explaining it in the video, though! Thank you for being super inspirational and very relatable! I believe you can do it!!

The kind of behavior that doctors put out their is really is unbelievable and unacceptable. So thank you for being better than them. Premed RUclips here! I love watching your week in the life vlogs so I am gonna make my own this week! Keep it up you are killing it girl! 💕
Currently in grad school for speech-language pathology and I loveee watching your videos. Course load isn’t nearly as difficult. But it’s nice to see you balance your schoolwork with everything else so nicely!
You are honestly so inspiring and so sweet. Thanks for your videos!
Its my first year of medical school too. Your videos are helping , we are studying biochemistry and its been really though. Seeing someone go through the same experience makes me feel like im not alone so thank you!
congrats! It's definitely tough, but we are all in it together.
I love watching your videos! They're so motivating. I'm not in med school, I'm in grad school and seeing you balance everything shows that if you can do it with your workload I can do it too! :)
You’re so cute & are doing so great!!!! Best of luck to your Tuesday exam ❤️❤️❤️
it's on monday actually! so i'm FREAKIN THE HEK OUT. Thank you though!
Thank you for this motivation to study for my Biology test ❤️
I’m in my first year of medical college too! Your videos inspire me and also make me realize how LITTLE time I spend studying as compared to you 😅
thanks Rachel so much for the videos. I have USMLE and these always help me to start up each day. I try to plan every hour, and use Board Vitals and try to reach 70%. Hope you continue to do well.
Yesss best study breaks are when you post a new video 💗💗
YASSS!
What did you major in, in undergraduate school?
Kinesiology! with a minor in chemistry
@@RachelSouthard if I double major in Bio and Kinesiology, would that look good for application?
@@seriliz00only if you get a good GPA. Otherwise, it's a waste of time
I watch your another week video everyday to motivate me revise my biology soo much that i keep revising till 12:00 and never getting enough 😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You truly never disappoint, keep it up!
How can you do so many lectures and study so much within a few hours??? It feels like you do more then 24, There’s 24 hours in a day! OMGG props to youuu
i really like your videos! I love seeing the world of med school thru your eyes. I'm not even in med school and i thoroughly enjoy your videos (I'm in nursing school) Please keep doing more vlogs and Q/A's!
Thank you Mikaela! Best of luck in your nursing school journey :)
Your beautiful, your genuine and it radiates in these videos 🙌😘
Thank you for sharing these vlogs with us 🙌
This means a lot to me I have many complex chronic illnesses and let me tell you I have dealt with some shitty doctors especially because I am young and I am a woman. The kind of behavior that doctors put out their is really is unbelievable and unacceptable. So thank you for being better than them. I am still in high school and I want to go into the medical field because of this reason and you are really inspirational.
I saw and I clicked, loving these videos! ❤️
Omg and she plays the piano ?!?! Like could she be anymore talented and beautiful 💕💖💖💕😜🙌🏻
Oh stawwwwwp
Ayyy killing it girl!! Loved the chill vibe editing 🤙🏼
I’m just so happy.
Loved the skincare part 🙌🏼 your skin looks amazing
my amateur beauty guru making an appearance. lol
Just found your blogs , and even though I am not med school. You have given me some good study tips for my cma classes.
My luck is also like that..no luck at all.. the other time , my mom was asking me how much I reached with my studying and all.. and I kinda broke down..imagine.. wow this videos title is *I'm so happy* I'm so happy to see you happy sis ... 💗💗💗💖💖💖💗💗
Keep it up Rachel! I just started dental school but seeing you hustle motivates me and inspired to do my own vlog lol!
I’m the same exact way! God knows I love being around people. But I can go from an extrovert to an introvert within seconds. This is true especially when I’m trying to study. Whenever I was in microbiology, my group would always ask me to study with them. I would literally feel like I’m having an anxiety attack, b/c I love studying alone, as well. So believe me I get it😇🙏🏽
I love your excel sheet!! Gonna try it out for my post bacc classes. Your videos are amazing, I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel!
I'm actually really happy with it and how it's been helping me! :)
Make a skincare video ! We wanna see the details (: your skin looks great! I get breakouts all the time during the semester. I’m 2nd year btw (: in Europe.
Also you could make a “what apps you’re using” like this clock sound didn’t sound like the normal iPhone sounds I don’t think.
Love your videos!! ❤️
I'm deaddd "it's not like memorization it's like Real Learning" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can you show a clip/video of your workout routine? Love your videos!
How old are you? You should do a video talking a little bit about yourself to know you better ❤
I just subscribed to your Channel. First video I’ve seen from you because RUclips recommend it to me, cuz they know I watch lots of med school students videos lol 😂 I’m also trying to get into med school and currently doing my undergrad pre-med majoring in biology. Keep up the good work 😁👍 you just motivated me to keep going and not give up😄
Rachel! I'm so glad I came across your channel, I love ur content and how interactive your friends are
Another great vlog! Brings back a lot of painful and semi-fun memories for me lol how has it been/how do you keep up with a healthy lifestyle (diet and exercise) in med school? I have struggled on and off with this while in medical school.
