My dad abused me all my life physically I was extreamly close with my uncle And during Christmas we would always go by his house and celebrate together, my uncle died of stomach cancer this year. This song just reminds me of all of the good times :)

I avoid friends or love because I don't want to be hurt again and not making friends or love happen helps me avoid them. It's easier not to love because in the end all you end up with is a broken heart.

Cavetown has cleared this up, saying that "Cut My Hair" is a remix of "This Is Home" but Cavetown still referenced "Cut My Hair" as Mounika's song, only stating that the vocals and lyrics are the same because he's the one that wrote it.
