Thank you for speaking truth, Kent. I agree with Pat McAfee. This team is full of bums. The Colts are similar to the classic Bears, Browns, Cards, Lions, and Jets, in that they have consistently underperformed for decades. With few exceptions, those franchises have been losers and have consistently done loser things and reaped loser's rewards for the majority of their modern NFL tenure. The last 10+yrs in Indy has demonstrated that lazy, arrogant culture the Manning-era made many of us forget about. Ownership is not serious about winning and I wish they'd sell the team after firing Ballard & Stinkin.

Ballard has always drafted for potential. He thinks he's more clever than other GM's and is going to "steal" the diamonds in the rough based on "athleticism". His practice of trading down in the draft, and the mistakes he's made with so many day 2 picks that were over-drafted is proof of this. AR is a prime example of promise over production. How about we draft some football players instead?

Greetings Kent, appreciate your time here with your channel today. Tough topic for sure.
I believe you covered the Colts situation, and spoke very well about it. I was very glad to see you do so.
Things you said, needed to be said. I always respect that. I certainly agree with the content.
The Giants wanted to play pro football yesterday, and they did. We looked like bumbling fools, and unfortunately are.
I read further down in the comments here and came across a post from a commenter that said, " Jaguars suck ".
I think you understand how I feel about that, and what good it does.
In any event, we'll see what we've got next week when we play them. No sense in me or anyone breaking down yesterday's game when you covered it so well.
This organization needs substantive change however, and I'd be one that would take it all the way down to the parking lot, and facility groundskeeping levels.
So let's hope someone truly qualified, experienced, and respectable can grab the steering wheel of this thing before we lose it altogether.
The Colts have a long, rich history in the NFL. They're not the oldest team but when you've been around since the early 1950's I believe that makes you one of the league's true jewels.
John Unitas era established a standard, and the Peyton Manning era surely showed tremendous reverence and respect to that.
It's beyond time to rebuild this once proud franchise back into a winning organization.
Hopefully this can begin next Monday morning at 7:00am when the day's business should begin.
Thanks again for your report, and commentary here Kent, I wish you all the best.

The Indianapolis Colts sabotaged themselves, had a chance mid season to cease control of the Division and allowed to slip away (that alone warranted heads to roll!!). I never fully bought in to Gus Bradley and his defense, the offensive play calling was atrocious, and a complete lack of self awareness from players and coaches. Time for a clean start, which starts in the front office. Fire Chris Ballard, Offensive and Defensive Coordinators, keep Shane Steichen and let him hire his new staff and give him an achievable goal such as make playoffs or your done. Find out who is toxic for the locker room, make difficult cuts if that's what it takes and or trade for salary cap space and picks. Easier said than done certainly, but change is in order!!

He overvalues his own players and is content to sit back and be satisfied with mediocrity . that’s why he never looks at free agents . Look at our free agents this year. There are only a couple even in the top 10 at their position . But I bet if Ballard somehow escapes the ax he would opt to bring back most of them and eschew the other talent out there on the market.

For a football player winning the right way is defined by the current Detroit Lions. Players that defined that for the Colts, Peyton Manning, Bob Sanders, and I’m sure a lot of of others that I’m not thinking of right now . The king of playing the right way was Walter Payton. Playing the right way is not just physical agility. It is a mental tenaciousness that is every bit of 50% of the equation. The Colts have very little of that.
