It work I ask God for a better car all the time staying faithful. Not only did I get a new 2019 Nissan Rogue it has everything I wanted in a car. Got this even after I stepping out on faith after I file for bankruptcy the week before. Thank Steve for showing us how to stay faithful through hardship. The last 6 years been a living nightmare I'm blessed because I know God never left me there's a testimony to my journey need to be told maybe to help others.
I think it's so easy to put God in a box, I know there are plenty of times where I did not pray for stuff I wanted because I didn't want to seem greedy for example asking for a house etc. This is a great message.

I can testify that Steve is right. About 2/3 months before I got my current job I took a pad and pen outside to our patio and wrote down everything I wanted from my next job. I made my list then gave it to God. About 2 months later I interviewed for a job, got offered it, and accepted it. Maybe 2 months after that I came across the list I made. Looking back over that list, I realized that the my new job met every single one of the criteria I put on that list. Every one. I'm still working that job 7 yrs later. You have to have faith. You have to be willing to risk it. Dont let fear kill your dream or your vision.

This man has me crying, and it's a good cry. Two more good verses from the Holy Bible. "Trust in God with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding" and "Let God be true and every man a liar".
I agree, however, God is NOT this genie in the bottle. It is His Will that we be transformed into His image and to look like Jesus everywhere we go. God is to be our master, NOT our servant. We are NOT to just to go God just so He can bless us. He wants us to surrender our life to Him, and He gives us peace and frees us from the bondage of sin. If we are okay with only seeking physical blessings, then we will not mature in Jesus. However, once He lives in us through His Holy Spirit, we will have the SPIRITUALLY abundant life. Yes, He physically blesses and provides for us just as He promised. However, we need to also look at the other parts of His Word also and to live right according to His Word (of course, by depending on Him because we can't do it in our own strength).

He's absolutely right about writing it down. I've felt so lost and confused in the past not knowing what to do feeling worthless. I've started praying bigger believing harder and writing to God, and I have never felt better. This is best piece of advice I have had in a long time.

I love this. I have watched it several times now. I believe Steve is speaking truth. This is so similar to something Elder George Q Cannon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints once said:
"How many of you...are seeking for these gifts that God has promised to bestow? How many of you, when you bow before your Heavenly Father in your family circle or in your secret places contend for these gifts to be bestowed upon you?
