Great job I wanted a more minimal skid so I went with the EVO Protec Skid System so I can still see what’s going under there but yours looks great and it looks really beefy
Good video be interesting to see if the bolts go tight after an impact or hung up on rocks , antiseize on threads maybe ? Looks tuff though a great option I like it .
Nice video! Did you need to cut anything around the outer tank skid bolts or did you need to install any rivet nuts to thread into? Other MC Undercloaks have needed that, but it looks like everything was using factory connections. If so, that's awesome!
The install actually went very smoothly. Did not need to cut or grind anything, and all hardware was included. I would recommend using 2 people, although I did it by myself. Thank you for watching.
Just curious, did you experience any vibration or new noise from this plate? I just installed it and am getting substantial vibration and motor noise that I figured is coming from the motor mounts to the frame. I have plenty of clearance and nothing is rubbing. Thinking about adding rubber spacers to all the motor skid bolt locations.
Kandungan video sangat baik, tahniah
Thank you for watching.
Great video.... what I’ll b installing as well ! Thanks
You will like them, they are super solid! Thanks for watching.
Agree with that most stock Jeeps are so good from the factory, great video mate
And although the prices have certainly gone up, for the capability you get stock they are still a good deal. Thanks for watching.

The EVO is great too. Yes, the Metal Cloak is solid & very beefy. So far so good. Thanks for watching.

Good question, I surely will find out soon I am sure. They are definitely super rugged though. Thanks for watching.
Just wondering does it add noticeable extra weight to the jeep?
No, not really. And they work!
Dis you remove the oem/factory gas skid plate?
Yes. That ones comes off.
Awesome install video! So there was no drilling involved? I have the rear diff skid but now want to invest into the rest of the system.
Thanks for watching. That is correct, no drilling involved at all. They fit on the first try and are really solid.
How easy is it to access the oil pan drain? Just stick a socket up through the hole?
Yep, a socket fits just fine up through the hole.

question, Im new jeep owner, does this mod effect future oil change access to filter/drain plug?
Thanks :)
It does not. There are access points for drain plugs.

Hmmm weird, no I did not experience that. Maybe re check the clearance of the plate. May be minuscule but maybe it is touching something?
What did you spend for the skid plates ?
The skid plates are $1200 from DV8. Thanks for watching.
Where did you purchase this kit.??? I’m interested
I purchased the kit directly from Metal Cloak. Thanks for Watching.
Is that the 3.6 or the 2.0 turbo?
It is the 3.6z. Thanks for watching.
