guys like Hobbs & Wardlow should have been top stars for AEW years ago. It doesn't make sense that Tony Khan could fumble them both like this.

Hobbs is currently injured again and Wardlow must have made TK made some how. He was legit the FIRST guy to get over with the crowd, get a mega push and then BOOM gone. It makes no sense. I feel Hobbs would do well in WWE, especially with Mark Henry back in the WWE fold, Hobbs could open a new house of pain!!!!

It goes back to what CM Punk said about a lot of guys in AEW not wanting to learn and not putting in the work.
You’ve got a bunch of old heads like Mark Henry, Paul Wight, Dustin Rhodes, Billy Gunn etc. in the company. Lean on them, ask questions, ask for advice, ask them to watch your match and offer tips. Punk was doing that for the likes of Hobbs & Starks when he was there and they improved. When he left they disappeared.
As far as the shaking hands thing goes, I agree, it’s basic respect
Mark Henry’s contract expired last May, he was even shown in the audience with his on Raw this past Monday.
TK and all of AEW talent has had over a hundred years of combine veteran experience to soak up from Sting, Arn, Tully, Jericho, Hardys, you name it.. and not a shred of their legacy know-how was tapped into at all.
QT Marshall has never gotten over. When the hell does he think he did?
Tony Khan is such a push over that AEW talent can flat out lie to him about being hurt so that he would pay them to chill out at home for like 5 months.
Ricky Starks, Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs would go well in NXT and they'd all have the potential to eventually move to the main roster. Ricky could be in a feud with Ethan Page just like Shawn Spears was. Powerhouse or Wardlow confronting Oba Femi would be a sight to see. It's a good time for those guys, they're still youthful with time on their hands and especially with the NXTNA partnership because it opens up more feuds with different opponents.
AEW wrestlers are a lot like AEW fans: they just disappear.

the way Tony Khan booked and then handled the Undisputed Kingdom alone will forever make him the all time worst booker in the history of pro-wrestling. It's actually almost fascinating at how badly that entire storyline was booked.

Konaan should realize that applicants at places like Starbucks do not shake hands. They have phobias about eye contact, too. Wanna send a millennial into a tailspin? Walk up and say, “Hi. How are you today? It’s good to see you.” They don’t believe in talking to anyone they don’t know.

And maybe teach them how to do promos instead of having so many managers to pair them with. As for QT, the guy went to AAA of all places and nearly got booed out of the building. Tony Atlas is a bigger draw than the AEW roster.
I feel bad for the young people who think they want to become a wrestler these days. The demise of the territories has left “trainers” like QT Marshall to impart his false/ignorant beliefs to the next generation. Wrestling schools have been around for decades and the trainers ALL had full time experience in the business. My parents let me travel to Massachusetts at 16 to train all summer at Killer Kowalski’s school. The travel and motel were more expensive than the training. His mailed brochure advised students would learn etiquette, ring psychology, safety, bumping, interviews and working on camera. Nothing about some character nonsense and no unknowns in charge of anything. It was the same when I went to train under Don & Rocky Kernodle and Jody Hamilton. Guys like QT claim 15-20 years experience and I guess that’s all they can say these days. But if I’m dropping around $5,000 for training, I ain’t listening to a guy who has been part time or weekend wannabe for 15 years. I don’t think QT is qualified. Neither is the guy who played Glacier.

I think its super stupid that people's career can be impacted by a handshake. Please judge people by their merit not their ability to suck up to people who are aging out of the industry. That is not a good way to run an industry. Those old school notions are not productive to having the best wrestling industry.

Look at the two of them. Both are big guys who immediately command alot of attention the minute they set foot in a room due to their huge frames and decent look.
Id rather put ROH world title on Big Bill than Briscoe . Atleast Big Bill can attend Baseball games or NBA games with the strap on his shoulders and I can guarantee you that casual people at those venues will no doubt stare at the man and he can draw attention towards the ROH belt. If it was Briscoe ,most casuals will laugh and assume he is an old man cosplaying .
