- There is a lot of extra work when sanding and finishing a hand distressed flooring. There are so many highs and lows, you have to sand the high areas until the low areas are gone. In this video I show how much work it is.

Have these floors too. Don't know what the heck i was thinking when i got them . Good to see it can be remedied .
That floor turned out great. Did you use a drum sander and a handheld sander on the edges? What grit did you use with each pass? I've heard as low as 36 on an initial pass with a distressed floor like that, but I've also heard not to go lower than 100. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Hey can you ballpark the price for this work on, say, 900 sqft?
