This is a great explanation. Coming from a utility that has a majority of wye-wye 3 phase transformers, im trying to apply to a utility that does 2 or 3 pot/can clusters, and mostly 120/240 with the occaisional 208 power leg. This makes it so much easier to understand.
I've watched all of your videos they are awesome I have learned a lot watching these and I have been doing line work for ten years can you do videos on reclosures
Thanks for the support. I’m glad they’re helping. A video on Reclosures would be tough. I like to have the equipment on hand for the lesson so I can show detailed operation and they are very hard to come by. Usually they’ve been on fire when they get rid of them.lol stay safe. 👍
Thank you for all of your videos they’re super super helpful!!!!!! Please make more for all of us !
lol. Thank you. I appreciate it. Hopefully I’ll have more out this summer. Stay safe 👍

Some utilities use X1 and X3, leaving X2 as the de-enrgized terminal.
I’ve watched all of your videos and can’t get enough! I hope you can come out with more videos soon!! Thank you for the info and content!🤙🏼
Also any linemen book you recommend? @Hiline Academy
Thanks. I appreciate it.
“Transformation for line workers” is a pretty good book. Also the yellow transformer book that the JATC puts out is good.
