- Today I'm going to teach you how to repair a cracked or broken bath bomb that you may have made yourself or purchased as a gift. I Walk You step-by-step including the items you need to do it and how to apply it. Super simple I hope you like this video.
You also need an emulsifier. It allows oil and water to mix so you don't get an oil slick in the tub/shower and it also helps to keep colors from staining the areas that have soap scum

@@ny007ny You're welcome. I saw another video of this lady. She crumbled up the cracked bath bombs, then sifted it into the bowl. She sprayed the mix with alcohol, put Cream of tartar in it. She remold them. It looked too complicated. I didn't even finish watching it 😂. But yours was more helpful!!

Love your video. Do you put them in a ziplock baggie or a container to dry?
I let them air dry for a day or two, then I shrink wrap them when I know they are completely dry.

can we see the dried product please. have you ever tried to rebatch dried ones. i have seen videos like this and when i tried it didnt work
I have never rebatched died mix because it doesn't really work for me.
The dried product will look like it never had a Crack in it as long as you match the color correctly.

Have you ever sold a cracked bath bomb? If so, did people care?
People tend to avoid the cracked specialty bath bombs, especially when they are buying as a gift. But if it is just a regular round bath bomb with a few small cracks it shouldn't matter if the product gets the job done.
Can I keep the mixture for next time if I dont have enough molds ?
No it will dry out. But you can keep the mix in a zip lock bag and use it in your bath. It will have the same effect as the bath bomb.
