Personally I don't think it is. Grilled or cooked in the oven is much better in my experience. Just add some lemon oil and realize simpler can be better.
@@georgiospapaioannou-xc9pbI'm going to respectfully disagree. Wood smoke imparts an amazing flavor, and I believe that it speaks to us on a primal level since our ancestors cooked all of their food using wood fire for thousands of years until we invented cooking with oils, natural gas, or electricity. You like it pan seared? Cook it in an iron skillet over a campfire, and tell me that ain't good.
brother. do come to the Caribbean ❤😂😂😂😂😂 also my ancestors were screamin at me in this video. no holy trinity!? lol no peppers....no onions....no real spices!? 😅 thank god for kerrygold lol that garlic butter saved it mans!
Maybe wrap the meat in some leafy lettuce like Korean and Vietnamese, maybe some .giardiniera. And dip in some sweet tangy spicy sauce like Vietnamese nout cham sauce. I would eat that as is or as a fish taco. Looks good my man
Looks delicious, people sleep on tile fish. Steamed is good as well, a little dry rub, sauté, scallions, onion, garlic, fresh thyme, small piece of tomato/optional and a pice of butter. Steam for 20min. Heavenly.❤🇯🇲🇺🇸
I've been eating tile fish 🐟 for 50 years I'm from Harlem and I use to go to China town to get it three different ones but they have about 6 of them 😊but i don't cook it that way, look up some Asian recipes for that fish it's amazing tasting fish
I was looking for something to do for the vegetarians (pescatarians) at my 4th of July cook out and honestly this looks perfect along with some lobster
BBQ fish is criminally slept on

MY MAN!!(DENZEL VOICE)
That kerrygold compound butter? 🤌🏾
It's so good! I used it for a seafood boil butter and it was amazing. It's like $2.50 a stick but definitely worth it
It's just a normal butter here in Ireland it's cool to see it as a premium product in the US
Looks delicious 😋

I’m not feeling the bacon. I’d do clarified butter on the skin side. Other than that the fillet job and final product look amazing

1lb of blue crab meat In the middle and you might have something
Can you taste the Himalayas?
Ohh man ❤
After All this preparation DOES IT STILL TASTE LIKE FISH?
That fish just turn into mudskipper at the end
Mouth watering man.
This is perfect ❤️❤️❤️
Why do you remove the bones?
looks better than lobster on the finish!
This would taste so good
How do they taste
I know that was🔥🔥🔥
Yummy
Put the oil on first. Then put on the powdered seasoning.
If you cook it skin up you'll get a crispy skin while keeping the meat moist a flakey!
Mmmmmm..... That Looks Absolutely DELICIOUS 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Where does 'Tilefish' come from?
You can pull it off a lil before 145 and it will carry on cooking while it rests without becoming flaky

Get that Kerrygold butter in there lad 🇮🇪🧈
I’ve tried that garlic butter let me tell you it’s an acquired taste 😂
Tilefish is off of my menu. Sorry guys.
Damm, that does look good. I'd kill that with some cheesy broccoli.
I feel called out about the salt.
No needing seedoil here. Well-done
It looks so good…but I feel like a monster looking at that little guy’s eyes and teeth.
Not tryna have a flattened face on my plate
Where can I catch one of these tile fish?
Never tasted this fish and I wonder if I could taste it at all with all those ingredients slathered on it?
You're a cool ass dude. Do a striper video so i know how to cook em when i go to new jersey next week!
Skinside down is criminal
I don’t suppose you could have cut the head off, could you? That thing still had teeth when you took it off the grill!
I say not even 20 minutes!❤
The mouth would have to go for me 🤦🏽♀️
The first white guy I seen that can season
I ain’t eating nothing with the head still on it!
Do you eat the head?
Bacon fat on fish?...
Just a reminder to all Americans that the word 'herb' has an 'h' in it
So does hour
that looks like its gonna stick to the foil
Himalayan pink salt for the millennials 😂😂
Pink salt if you want to throw away extra money on a finishing salt when plain salt will do fine.
Ditch the foil and let that skin crisp.
