- If you are triggered by cheating even if it's a fictional one, then maybe skip this drama. I feel a little bit gypped after I finished watching. I went into this drama expecting a full-blown adulterous relationship because that’s what all the previews I’ve seen promised but really, they were just toeing the line the whole time. Cheating? Yes. Adultery? No. I’m glad this is a short drama otherwise it would’ve been a drag. You could only dramatize indecisive cheating for so long before people get annoyed. This was different from the usual. I don't regret watching it.

I loved how kehuan is still consistent.. he knows what he wants and was not afraid to fight and wait for it
I love how weiwei firmly reject him at first. Even if she begins to have feeling for kehuan, she has principle and wants to end her previous remationship first.

I've watched many asian dramas but this was the only most realistic drama in all of those. The characters, situations, and the plot felt close to real life experience. And also both the actors were super good Jasper liu in this drama was on a whole other level. Anyone who's been in love or faced break up should definitely watch this and also they have a happy end

This is the comment i was going to write🙌🏻 I watched Korean, Thai and Chinese dramas but this Taiwanese drama was the most realistic one. It was really something else. The dialogues, costumes, homes, feelings, dilemmas everything was like the things we have in our lives.No completely toxic, evil characters like in Thai lakorns, no silly comedy or baby kisses like in Korean Dramas, no dragging forever like in Chinese ones. Everything was as it is in “life”

Watched the drama because of this incredible mv. The chemistry was crazy good. The way MVTeeVee was able to turn the different scenes into this piece of art, is just brilliant. I enjoyed the drama but I like the feeling MVTeeVee brought with her skills even more. As always thank you for your masterpieces. I discovered many great dramas because of you.

Lol, I do agree with you, although we did get pay off in the end! I thought the actors kept the tension so well though, that it carried me through to the end. The worst part was Kehuan's ex, who was your generic overly possessive second female lead, who wasn't only totally delusional, but never got a complete character arc where she grew as a person. She was just terrible from beginning to end.
If you want a better full on affair of the main characters, I highly recommend Love Affairs in the Afternoon. The recent Korean version was quite good! Although, again, yet another drama where the rival female shows zero growth as a person >_>

Goodness, I have no idea lol. Probably being an adult with a fulltime job helps. I don't have many more responsibilities than myself and my 2 birds, so when I have periods that I don't want to go out, I end up watching a lot of dramas!
As far as finding dramas goes: sometimes I stumble on them, but mostly I have two main sources: Soompi (on FB) and MyDramaList. With the latter, people make entire lists according to various themes, which you can look through and they also put suggestions for similar shows if you're on the page of another show you like. That's my number 1 source for info about Thai dramas.
And then of course, there's just whatever is on Viki. And if I like individual actors, I look up what they've been in and usually watch it!
That's about it...everything else is just stumbling on it through discussion or reading random articles.

i kind of like how there was no character development for his ex. it shows how some people never change. they can’t move on and they can’t change their thinking’s/ways.
In real life the scecond lead actress is such a sweet person. She was so careful when she did the scene where she slapped him, made sur she took off any rings. She broke down and cried after the last scene as they were fighting from beginning to end.
I love FMVs like this that make you suddenly want to watch a drama. Gives me thrills to watch it

"Before we got married" & "The world of the married" are both great dramas if you want to watch both views (the "cheater" & the one that is "cheated" on)!
The fact that we never heard why kehuan's ex abort their child, how weiwei's mom look like, why Kehuan's bff suddenly got cut off to further episodes just because he got transferred and never again chased weiwei's bff.. So many things remained unknown to this series but it was good after all.

Hmm such amazing chemistry between the 2 leads - I don't know how she waited so long to succumb. It would take an average girl about 1.5 episodes after meeting to Kehuan to agree to run away with him.
They are so beautiful together and they are in the real life!
But honestly the realationship especially in the beginning is extremely toxic, and I would never let any guy treat me that way and give me a chance. It’s the dark and ugly ways of toxic masculinity that is frequently portrayed in dramas, I’m just happy that more dramas now have the female lead being more independent and powerful over the male lead or at the same respect as the male lead
This drama has a common plot at some point but damn, it was interesting. I enjoyed watching it. These couple has such a chemistry that you can’t help but ship them and get sad and jealous whenever they fight or kiss.
I have watched this amazing drama and a year later after I watched it, I found this and your edit makes me want to watch it again. This edit is amazing words can't describe, you have added mystery, tension to it. Its intriguing even tho I already watched it this edit makes me feel like its a new one. Definitely watching this C-Drama again.

I had so many realizations in life after watching this drama. It tackles infidelity issue here and me myself do not tolerate that thing, but, i realized this is the "other part of the story", we really cannot judged a person.
The female lead life here was so toxic, i cant barely breath on her life.. Her boyfriend manipulates him psychologically. I remember there was an episode here, she was crying and said that she managed to budget her meal for almost three yrs, she doesnt buy clothes, she managed not to have a single night out with het friends, her only leisure is the karaoke booth where she can spend a cent.. That breaks my heart tho. She is genuine, she loves her boyfriend and it was not a question from the very beginning. She loves and respect her boyfriend so much that she forgot herself.
Good thing that at the end of the day, she became happy. :)
This is an impressive trailer...Each scene draws you to the next and gives the genuine elevation passion between them. Even watching it without sound and you still feel the urgency between them. Good Job.

This drama gives me mix feelings. If it was to happen to me that my lover found someone else when we were engaged and say he found someone else and lost feelings I would be so sad but the story is a lot different then what we think.

Honestly, the female lead was kind of annoying because she wasn't clear about what she wanted, but it was also realistic because no one would know what to do if they were in her position. But I really liked Jasper's character. He was firm and very charming.

This drama is not for young teens looking at relationships with the eyes of innocence. It is for mature people who know that in life, it happens and people have to face it as an adult. Cheating is only a consequence. Better to look at the cause.

LK saying "it's such a shame. i met you too late." to WW really broke my heart. This drama opened my eyes and made me see the other side of cheating and that sometimes people simply grow out of love with their partners. I really liked WW's persistence in rejecting LK even though she was facing such a huge internal conflict with her feelings (because tbh i'd get swayed by LK much earlier if my fiancé was such an inconsiderate a*sh*le)

It's an overall good watch tbh, it isn't dragging on for 20s of episodes and 12 episodes seems to be a good amount. Actors have brilliant chemistry and somehow those characters match the actors. Story is so so. It ends on a good note, but it's about what happened before they got married so stop expecting them to get married lol.
