Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue with the height of 182 metres. 2nd position in the world according to height is Statue of Liberty in New York with 93mtr. Statue of Unity was made by construction company Larson & Tubro. Overall it took 3 years to get build. It is really a subject of pride for Indians since after independence as it gave a identity of sovereignty to Indians among the world.

You must book for the Khilwani cruise in time as most of the time it is full.
You can take express entry tickets @1040 ₹ per person for time saving. In my case there was no rush so normal ticket of 380₹ pp worked. Viewing gallery ticket is included in both 380₹ & 1040₹ tickets. dont buy them separately.
Ekta food court is depressing as it does not offer much price worthy fresh food options. Instead you go to Amul counter at the exit gate for great, price worthy tasty food options.
Butterfly garden is yet to be developed and is in very basic stage.
Light and sound show is good and need to ne booked timely.
Glow garden and cactus garden is also worth visiting.
You can also visit Zarwani water fall and enjoy rafting there.
The best hotel to stay near SOU is Ramada Encore which will cost you around 7000 per night.
SOU tent city is over priced and not upto the amount quoted.

Be aware of food court in SoU premises, they are taking almost 3 to 4 times charges than normal. I just visited SoU and took Paunbhaji @210, Extra paun @30 (which costs 2 to 3 rs. in local market)

Ekta nagar jo aap dadar to ekta nagar railway hai raat ko 12:10 ki train hai wahan se free bus hai jo statue of unity lekar jayega
