- What happens when we’re converted spiritually, yet unchanged mentally? When using human remedies for spiritual issues, we become ineffective. We must be courageous, functioning under the anointing in atmospheres that are seemingly uncomfortable and chaotic. Remember, God doesn’t have to stop the storm because He can walk on the storm. Furthermore, our mission forces us to receive those people outside of our “normal” who are called to further His purpose. Our faith is the only currency accepted to access the blessings of the Kingdom. I decree that every malignancy that would deter you from reaching your goals will not cross over into 2020. The power of the Holy Spirit is not for sale.

This was a prophetic message just before covid. I really never listened to Jake's prior to now. I started to listen to him right before all the attention on him, but I decided to listen to him. Anyway. So glad I did. He has truly been great and he can break down the Bible with the best of them. Now I listen to him weekly. Funny how God works, I am glad they caused the controversy around him, because I found his teaching and its been a blessing. He is reaching folks like me and others that never knew him. I don't care about the so called scandal he is a master at Bible teaching. Blessings and grace . TD Jake's. You are truly gifted.

Bishop Jakes, i am a man whom used to have hate in my heart, i was a drug addict, i was abad person until Jesus found me looking for drugs on the floor of my house. I sought Jesus from everyday since. Your sermons have led me to strength in the word and put a fire in me. Ilove your sermons, where i hear the passion in your words, I felt urged to get closer to God and in touch with the holy spirit within me. I now serve the Lord and have my own lil ministry serving all in my path. God gave me gifts to serve him so i use them to bless his kingdom. I ask if you can pray or all who are on this comment thread pray for me and family to come back together and we grow his ministry together as a family. That we can have more purpose with a bigger ministry helping those whom are lost still and just need a guide and a prayer back to Jesus.
