APOE genotype is the boogie man of genetics. Lots of people that are curious about having their genes tested don't get it done only because they don't want to know their APOE status.
So if I cannot eat much saturated fat or cholesterol due to ApoE4, but I do not like fish, avocados, olive oil, or lean meat, then what else can I eat to prevent heart disease and Alzheimer's?
@@ApoBeef But the other video showed research that said high cholesterol did NOT endanger APOE4 carriers as much as other APOE types. I thought that was intriguing. That video was named "should we worry about APOE4?" (like worrying helps anything lol)

Please do a video on Lp(a) that's available in 1/3 of Americans and 1/2 of the people in India.
I was watching and listening. I have ApoE 4/4. I am very interested in this topic. More discussions please - but on the level of the lay person.
I was really interested in what Rhonda was saying about the proportion AZ with any number of copies APOe4 but could not hear for all the overtalking!!
I wish the guy didn't interrupt the woman so much - she was the more interesting
Could someone do a video on APO 3 and the different variants in more layman terms, and link this molecule with ApoB?
This guy just over talk Rhonda. people skills Dude?!

So if a 2/4 “cancels each other out” for cardiovascular disease, wouldn’t the same hold true for Alzheimer’s?
Yes.
@@josephs3169 I didn't get that idea. I got the idea he was saying it depends on how much each one expresses itself.
No. For Alzheimer’s 2/4 is better than 3/4 and 4/4 but 2/4 is worse than 3/3, 3/2 and 2/2.
Someone has ADHD!
