Schools rarely teach history now, so afraid of being sued as ‘Racist’ or ‘Religious’ or ‘Political’ or something else as ridiculous. American children have grown up ignorant of their forefathers determination and sacrifices to create a country where each citizen has equal rights to life, liberty and the freedom of speech. These rights must be protected and our law enforcement and National Guard provide that service. Globally, the finest military in the world, that of the United States of America, actively protects America from aggressive invasion. Loyal and patriotic young Americans have served gallantly throughout the nation’s history and sacrificed lives and limbs and emotional health that others, safe at home, might be protected from dangers if invaders were in their backyards. The courageous survivors of these military campaigns seldom discuss the horrors which they experienced and rarely complain. Many live with continual nightmares of the past and endure constant physical pain but receive very little to poor medical/mental health care. America must honor all the veterans and provide the best of continued care, free of charge, for those suffering the damages of war. All who heroically risked their very lives deserve our deepest gratitude and respect. Thank a veteran NOW! e.conboy 🇺🇸

It’s been said “time is fleeting”, but I contend that time is cyclical. Not a mention from most media about the significance of days from this notable time. I would have never known about June 6 from the “media” this year except that several of my long gone uncles served in both theaters. Sad that kids of today are in peril of repeating this horrible time in their own iteration of it.

Thank you so much for everything you brave men.. 17.. 18 years old.. barely out of school.. not even yet.. life only beginning... Yet for so many life cut short due to the actions of a handful of some of the worst evil people in modern history. Men and heroes like yourself and so many others need to never be forgotten. Younger generations of today especially should be taught this history. Teenagers and such of today need to understand why and how they have it so good and life by the balls.

To see the world lunging headlong to more of the same makes me feel as if the current generations are destined to endure these same, age old experiences all over again. One thing should be remembered. That generation that we call 'old' using this adjective as a derogatory, that generation saved the world, saved future generations, that generation saw the slaughter and horror of war. Their stories must be seen as a warning to ensure that this never happens again. So that we do not forget everything that happened during that time.
