I remember playing this for the first time on ps3 and being absolutely mind blown by how realistic I thought it was.
That’s where fifa has lost its magic. Back then every year the graphics seemed revolutionary and every year it was exciting to buy the next game. Now we just are at a stage where we expect so much more than EA give and know they are holding so much back. The fun has been stripped from it

Me and about 10 of my friends used to write the best teams down on paper and pick them out like a raffle so you couldn't complain what team we got and we had tournaments, whoever won the tournament was crowned the best and it felt like winning the world cup for whoever won the tournament haha

As a 20 year old in my opinion fifa 09 was the best fifa, soundtrack, manager mode, be a pro and playing kick off games with my bro so many memories goat status of fifa

FIFA 07 is my all time favourite FIFA game. I can't even begin to tell you how many hours I sunk into manager / career mode. 09 was my second favourite
07, 09 and 11. 09 and 11 because every single team was ar it's peak, super real madrid, killer atletico madrid, ultimate barca, king juventus, uefa inter, brazilian cartel ac milan and more
In fifa 18 i could beat legendary with low rated team but in fifa 06 i can barely beat professional
In FIFA 18 there is no UEFA champions and the Europa league just letting you know!
I've noticed the earlier fifas are harder

On The first nights with the game my mom let me play until 10:00 pm, but i always woke up at 4:00 am before school, and i sneakily went to the living room. Turned on my Xbox and start playing until my mother woke up and took my to the school.

Mate,you can play set pieces and play practice matches if you want to in the arena just press left or right and you can select what you want to practice on.

mastering the chip shot back then and using it in Pro Clubs was too fun - this game was the best Fifa ever by 2012 they had changed completely how everything worked

I barely started playing in 2020 and for some reason the songs are either bangers or absolutely terrifying. Also I am always oddly scared when playing at night with no one else in the room.
It does have Set pieces in practice arena. You gotta press the D Pad buttons
This was the first demo of fifa de os franchise i played my first demo fifa 09 what a game.

2008 was First Next gen fifa and allready Good With the new dribbling Mode. Bit FIFA 2009 i remembered as the Best Fifa of all Time
Fifa 09 had the most eye candy graphics in a Fifa game to this date to me, but the gameplay had zero depth. It was through ball through the defense standing with their high line at the middle of the pitch and run with a fast striker for a free goal.

You have to use the D pad arrow in arena to bring up free kicks or using it in the box lets you do a penalty. Pretty basic mate.

Graphics aside though, FIFA 09 doesn't look or play as arcadey as current versions. It's definitely gone backwards. I remember playing FIFA 08 and 09 and actually quite enjoyed it and this coming from a long time PES player but I actually really liked this version of FIFA
