- Kings general manager Monte McNair faces the media on Wednesday morning to finally address the firing of Mike Brown as head coach back in December, the decision to trade away franchise star De'Aaron Fox, how those moves came to be and the path going forward for Sacramento as they welcome in a new era with Zach Levine.

I'm grateful for Fox and his amazing contribution to this franchise. I wish him well and still remain hopeful for the future. I'm looking forward to this evening and the new-look Kings in action. I believe we have a very strong core.
“That’s the end of my intro.. let’s go” 🍿🍿🍿
How the F is this guy not fired!!!!!
Ham with the fire first question we ALL been wondering!!
*and still wondering*
He keeps back peddling. Never a straight answer.
McNair seems angry when answering questions. He should be fired next. 😅
'Since Mike Brown was fired, Monte, why is it only now you are coming before the media'? Like....umm. well...we were focused on the team....umm.' Looks to me like Monte taking questions from the media after the Brown and Fox debacles is the last thing on earth he wants to do. Maybe that is because there is no good answer for the incompetence Kings' management has displayed.
This guy has no 🏀 s. I’ve seen more courage in kids and women than this guy. What a coward!
Anything to cover his ass
Man the lack of accountability is just so apparent. It’s too bad really, is it that hard to shoot straight with fans and media?
Fox didn't want to sign we traded him smart move. Kings were struggling and monte basically said the results weren't there he's gone. Tells me if you dont win your not gonna be there and honestly I like that
He wasn't winning for the past 5 years so you blame for wanting to leave changing coaches and GM's every other year come on man how long is Monte going to stay
So it's crazy that the whole time he was giving this press interview they were working on the Jonas deal! It feels like the Kings came up with all the trades!
some of yall don’t understand that fox was already done with sac, would yall have rather let him walk? or get a guy like lavine, and now we just traded for jonas, which is a very underrated center, after we fired brown, the team went uphill and yes without fox, i was upset seeing fox go, but we’re doing alot better than divac days
I don't understand why dude at 2:54 always takes like a full minute to get his question out, and then it's some super simple thing he could've asked in 5 seconds (and in this case is the EXACT same question James just asked). Why is this guy still allowed in the room after all these years?
Monte is that you?
😂😂@@Saulgoodmanman
Whole month of not saying anything about about how they fired MB
In Monte we trust
That's funny you probably thought Vlade was going to fix it
🦊y didn't want Brown fired...
I think it was Sabonis being low-key. He was ' out sick ' rem😮
Your tripping
@roblesjaime1 Nah
It may have been just bad management and them thinking fox wanted him gone because of Mike's old school coaching. I haven't heard any players speak bad of Mike.
