What is powering that second car? I have not been to Gurston in years but I seem to remember something similar about 10-15 years ago. But it was not ready. Could it be the same car?
It's a very clever car/builder. Nick Mann built it and has developed it. It is a 1.7 Cosworth turbo engine, 4 wheel drive. The catch is, the car runs an onboard helicopter turbine, this keeps the turbo at a constant boost, so no turbo lag. I am always dubious of power figures stated by commentary, but it was mentioned it runs around 400bhp, but that was some time ago so maybe more.
