RC controlled Meccano army tank

Built from the 9015 Army Multi kit (1972-1978)
Modified to include motors for the tracks and remote control.

Great work. What is the range of that controller?

Only tried it within 1m. I think it needs an aerial. But for kids to drive it at expos, 1m will be fine.

@@JohnnyMeccano I have tried with Arduino with the NRF24L01 modules, they are pretty good even with wall as obstacles. I have tested the functionality on breadboard and its impressive

Arduino would certainly do it but I wanted cheap and simple.
