Good to another video from you this week! We’ve got a lot in common, motorcycling, musician ( guitar for me ), and now retirement. It’s nice not having to be somewhere at a certain time. Played at church last Sunday & right afterwards the wife and I hopped down to Kentucky to Mammoth Cave for a day. Nice to be able to just decide to go on a quick trip.
That sounds great. I sat in a couple times in December with a church in keys, and also unfortunately sang and played at a former church bandmate funeral before that. Hoping to find my place back again playing at church some. Wanted to learn Bass to diversify a bit!
It was an adjustment for me too, Mike. But I settled in and I'm glad you have as well. Nothing like being free to fill your days however you choose. I hope you both have many years of retirement in your future. Be well.
Good to see your doing well. I enjoyed the moto videos but completely understand doing other things and riding less I’m kinda going that way myself. Couple mishaps and close calls. Still love gliding on 2 wheels though.
Hey Mike, good to see you making videos again. I retired from the USPS 10 months ago and I do enjoy it but after working for 45 years and then to just stop is a big adjustment. I did get to spend more time on my Goldwing last summer. Keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching.
I'm enjoying my and my wife's retirement, at first when I retired over 4 years ago it took me almost a year to get used to it. After working 46 years i felt like I was playing hooky from work. when i got up every morning. I still get up at 5 AM everyday though. Like you said there is nothing like it. We have no dept, house and vehicles all paid for that's a great feeling. I feel relaxed and stress free. Hope to see more RUclips stuff from you. You are looking good MM. You are a multi-talented guy. ds
I've been watching your videos for years and learned a lot. Thankyou for actually being a guy that has knowledge, experience, know how and your videos are perfect, learned alot from you.

I’m 58 and started trying to retire at 50. My friends ask me what I do with my time, I tell them what all the old farts told me over the years, I don’t know how I ever had time to work! One of the things I did was start my own channel 🤦🏻♂ Saw your comment on Buzz’s retirement garage where you said you wanted to revive your channel. Well i so appreciate that. I think followers these days are enjoying just simple down to earth honest blogs that are real. I think the trend of over produced YT vids will always have their place, but as someone commented earlier, in the old days of youtube it was almost like you were having a conversatiom with the content creator!
I absolutely love retirement. Bored no way. The best part of retirement for me is long vacations, and I mean long 5,6,7,8 weeks at a time. This year Alaska and British Columbia for almost 4 weeks. Then Norway for 3 weeks.
I have heard some others are also considering quieting RUclips depends on how big you are as far as subscription numbers. I still love You Tube videos!! I had 46 years and retired and sadly I am busier than before retirement, so I guess I’m not really retired ??
Fantastic MM, being retired I can understand. I did get bored a lot so I took a part time job at Georgia Southern here in Statesboro, Ga. We are headed back to Middle Tn. we are not satisfied with this area. Will let you know when get relocated maybe get together for a ride. Be safe, have fun.
