First Look: Introducing our Resort 2023 RTW Collection, High Tide. “For this Resort season we’ve dived into all things nautical and embraced the romance of sailing. I loved looking at all these gorgeous images from the 50’s and 60’s of women on idyllic sailing holidays and tried to capture a sense of the simple elegance and holiday glow that came from our references - there’s hints of nostalgia through the collection but with a fresh and fun take. We worked with our artists to create jaunty sailboat prints, placement world maps and classic 50’s ikat florals. The mix of both liquid and sharp papery fabrics creates movement in our silhouettes, with some of the key looks opening up, almost like you’re walking through a breeze. Funnily enough I grew up sailing on a small boat with my Dad on weekends and holidays in Botany Bay in Sydney, which wasn’t particularly glamourous, and certainly not that relaxing! I think I prefer our take on a sunny holiday on the sea!” - Creative Director, Nicky Zimmermann.

And those busts were respected and correctly supported. I hate to see how some designers send their plus size models down the runway in some of the ugliest outfits/dresses ever ! A beautiful curvy body deserves consideration of fabric, cut, proper support in all the right places, not just a bigger dress.
Combining colors, textures and fabric movements; is a talent tremendously displayed on this show, that take the designer to a top level of creativity

His capacity of giving value to a fabric, that , in a store shelf , would not show it(the fabric elegance) , is his main talent. I think getting a fabric, that, many people would say that , the fabric looks like a grandmother night gown; and turning that fabric in a elegant and desirable look for every day fantaboulous dress is a talent , very few have 👍👍👍😱😱😱😱🥰🥰🥰🥰🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

Wow wow WOW! The SAILS of it all! I love everything here. Even though it was difficult I forced myself not to fixate or back up while watching the first time, but instead experienced the presentation unbroken as intended. By the final walk I had tears streaming down my face. I mean I am truly, deeply MOVED by this collection, this show. Witness how beautiful: the Women of Earth! Thank you @Zimmerman for celebrating us!
All the fabrics look so lovely and lush, and that white lace textile with the continents of Earth is just breathtaking and truly moved my cynical Gen X heart. This entire collection is a triumph! ✨✨✨
