Please make sure though that people watching will know -goldfish look pretty there for a video but they can’t live like that, and make sure people understand that cement is toxic to fish when it’s first made and you must do things to make it safe for them or they will die. Many people will want to copy your amazing work and they won’t know the things you do, please tell them 💜

Cement is great for making ponds but most people fill it and drain it many times over a couple of weeks to leech the chemicals out, then they might use a liner. You can paint the surface with a sealant instead to make it water tight and fish safe, I would probably use plastidip. That’s a rubbery sealant that is safe for fish once it is completely cured. Remember to leave the pond or tank running a few weeks to complete the nitrogen cycle and let the beneficial bacteria grow.
