IMPORTANT ! Do not update to 1.6.2R5 yet, UNLESS you already have uBoot 5.4.0 on the unit, Siglent missed the uBoot update in the firmware, keep reading for more info... You might have a subtle issue, go to your settings and try to choose a Timezone, if there is nothing then you need to update the uboot, Siglent forgot to include it in the update and it causes issues. problem is now you will need to do a recovery package and then re install the latest system. Get hold of your local Siglent dealer to get the package. Basically you set the scope to factory defaults , insert a usb stick with the recovery package on it, reboot it and let it do its thing, then re install the latest system. The latest uBoot is version 5.4.0.
Thanks for the tip. I had Uboot 5.00 on my scope before updating to 1.6.2R5, and it is still 5.00 after the update. I'm not sure what problems this has given (if any), but I will take a closer look once back at the scope. If not having Uboot 5.4.0 installed before doing this 1.6.2R5 firmware upgrade causes serious issues, then Siglent should warn us of that!

The SDS2000X HD has the same UI optimization as well, but this wasn't mentioned in the revision note.
