  • Classic Carlectables proudly presents a special Gold Livery Edition of the Ford XA Falcon GT, celebrating the 50th anniversary of its 1973 Bathurst victory.
After the 1972 Supercar scare, Ford built two new XA GT Hardtops for the 1973 Manufacturers Championship, using components from the ill-fated Phase Fours. Moffat and Gibson's XAs showed promise but faced challenges leading up to Bathurst, despite setbacks at Sandown, the XA Falcons were equipped with improved suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and lightweight Globe wheels.
At Bathurst, Moffat overcame early obstacles and, with co-driver Pete Geoghegan, secured a decisive win after a dramatic race, marking Moffat's third Bathurst victory in four years. The model features the Grace Bros signage, reflecting its appearance during the race.
