FIFA 12, 13 and 14... I will never forget that Golden Era. the best FIFA's for me. and 14's gameplay was so good, I kept playing the last gen versions of 15, 16 and 17 because it carried over the same engine
There's something about these older games, both PES and FIFA, that I really like. I'm biased towards PES, so that's what I've been playing lately. But I can't lie that almost all of them just feel too stiff compared to the modern iterations, with the exception of PES 2014. I just started playing it and my god, it feels leagues ahead of any previous game when it comes to physics, player momentum, gameplay realism. Would love to see some PES 2014 vids from you in the future.

@@MarlonAnthony there are a lot of legends whose faces are still in the files of all these old fifa games so I've been bringing them all back, putting them in free agents. Bringing van der Sar back to pass his knowledge down to De Gea, one last season for R9 to go out on his terms, a Player/Manager career mode with Ljungberg at Arsenal...many storyline possibilities

Ha, Carl Jenkinson scored his first Arsenal goal against Norwich. That keeper penalty save with his boot was excellent.

FIFA on the Ignite engine is so smooth.
Ignite was the engine they used on next gen 14-16, but this was still a damn good engine!

EA really fell off their animation game, EA FC 24 animations look robotic compared to this.
