Yeah, I heard you can do that by using commands that make your current DOS version pretend to be a different DOS version. I've never really used it myself, however.
Probably some sort of problem with keyboard settings. I had someone else come to me with the same problem and it turns out that they needed to fiddle with keyboard settings. You could try VirtualBox's soft keyboard and see how that works.
Well, did you try using the modified Windows 1 installation floppies I provided? Also, what type of CPU are you using? I recently found out that AMD CPUs can be rather problematic with emulating older versions of Windows.
@@stephaniethebatter7975 I downloaded everything from the links you had provided in the description! But i do not know what cpu i have, I'm not that knowledgeable with computer and rn I'm not able to check that
@@oliverlumiere.4452 Well, you can simply open System Information, which would outright say whether you have Intel or AMD. Or, if there is a CPU sticker on your computer, it should tell you what sort of CPU it has.
@@oliverlumiere.4452 Well, maybe you should try again with the installation and make sure you did everything right. You could've made a typo and not known it. At this point, there's not much more I can do from the comments section.
thank you this was worked i watched many video but not work but your step are worked
Yep, that was my intention with this video. To cover all problems you might run into when installing the first version of Windows.
